Lacrosse thread

Nebody here play lax? I've been playing for almost 4 years now and its is truley my fav sport of all time. Not alot of ppl know or play lax but it is a fun sport and if u dont know what its about pick it up sometime its really fun.
I play Defense so i have a 6ft pole that a check and hit ppl with.
Great sport to take ur anger out w/ too---but that what the other team does too lol.
Its kinda a mix of hockey and basketball and soccer most ppl say...but its pretty orginal b/ the Natives made it up as a game to prepare for war.

If ne of ya guys play about it i appreciate ya tellin me!

Lacrosse is huuuuuge at my school, the team keeps goin to State Championships. I wish I'd decided to play, it looks like a lot of fun.

Defense owns the hell out of any other position. I've gotten so used to it that I really can't use a short stick any more. I don't get enough leverage

Yes I play lacrosse. I play the crazy man position goalie. Nice to see other lax players here! Ive been playing for about 3 years. I dont know why most people dont like it. I admit when i first started i didnt like it. Know im adicted to the sport.

I played D last year, it was my first year playing as a senior in high school, I had a really good time, the team was a bunch of cool guys, we made the playoffs for the first time as a 2nd-year Varsity team.

I don't play, I do enjoy watching it though. We only had the Ottawa Rebel for a couple years, but I've been to a handful of Toronto Rock games as well. My brother's a big fan.

It's your national sport isn't it? I watched the girls team once and left at halftime, there were so many inane rules and zero structure, basically one girl would take it, bull rush the goal and shoot, over and over and over. It was JV, but still, they were just awful, plus there's some personal bubble rule or some crap. I dunno, could never get into that.

Yeah it is our national sport, but it still isn't very big here. It's picking up though.

I used to play lacrosse way back when; it was so much fun. My highschool was one of the top lacrosse teams in America I believe.
