I wanted to start out right into the chorus. The movie just started out with killing and showed the love of mickey and mallory, so that is what my chorus represents.... or attempts. Please give any feedback... thanks, oh yeah it has the weird pause thing at the end of each line in the chorus too.

Guilty as Sin

Chorus:
Your smile----
My lips--------
Reminding me-
Of that day---

My breath-----
Your neck-----
Shivers through
Our spine------

Because We’re Guilty as Sin

When the people come
What are you going to say
--That the whole world
--Will come to the end

White Angels come down
Floating from the skies
--Red horses let us ride
--To a place without death

Chorus:

When I cut myself
I bleed your blood
--Our love will flow
--Into a stream

Snakes In our hands
Is all we'll ever need
--Symbols of our love
--Remembering our fate

Chorus:

Can u hear them?
Hear what they say
--Guilty as charged
--They just don’t know

Keeping us locked away
Will only make love grow
--It will bring us closer
--Than ever before

Chorus:

This world of demons
Breeds a world of ghosts
--Life in my world
--Cannot exist

When there is no
One left to torture
--True love will live
--And It will never die

Outro:
Because We’re Guilty as Sin
Cause we’re guilty as sin
Cause we’re guilty as sin
We are guilty as sin

Another clip of Mickey and Mallory saying
“I love you Mickey”
“I love you to Mallory”

I was thinking of having slow heavy guitar lines that kinda drone with a steady pulsating drum beat for the chorus song. Something to give off a creepy feel, but not too creepy, the verses probably a little lighter. I just watched the movie again and I wanted something similar to the music in the movie to play off of it.

I tried to break each verse up into a different part about the movie. I saw four main themes in the movie...killing, love, death and the media.. I tried to tie all those things in.

mmm. its kind of a soft chorus which may not be too good. you want to reconsider the chorus as it is perhaps the most important parts of the song. u want something to grab the reader/listener with the chorus.I jus feel that compared to the rest of the
song it isant too good.

Keeping us locked away
Will only make love grow
--It will bring us closer
--Than ever before

This world of demons
Breeds a world of ghosts
--Life in my world
--Cannot exist

These bits are great. always a bit sketchy going for short verses as its hard to cram in imagination but i think these bits work well.

Snakes In our hands
Is all we'll ever need
--Symbols of our love
--Remembering our fate

This isant so good. it starts well but fades a little bit. What happened to the ryhming? overall its ok. i dont like it too much but its not bad by anymeans i guess its jus personal opinion. personally id give it a 7/10 becuse parts of it is imaginary and creates scenes in my head and other parts ruin it slightly. eg
When the people come
What are you going to say
--That the whole world
--Will come to the end

This is a strange bit which i am not a fan of at all. i think u need to structure this song better. its confusing at times and its a little to revealing but its an ok song

i will take that into consideration... especially with restructuring the song. IT was a difficult task to do since their were so many themes in the movie. I think I will try to go with the contrast between love with each other and love with killing.

Anyone else have any comments though. Any ideas I should put in or take out? Any good lines or verses?
