I haven't been around for a while...end of the semester, finals and all.... So I haven't been writing much, if at all.... So here's something I dug up.... What do you think?
-Flawed Hourglass-
The sand in the hourglass is limited
and the grains all slip through fast
In life we struggle to stay on top
but in life you can't change the past
We wonder if our own lives
are really just in vein
We fall through the clouds
but nothing seems to change
We wonder why the ones we love
are always the ones that go
They fought and struggled for all of this
and now what do they have to show
I wish that I could see them
just for one last time
I'd tell them that I'll do my best
and that I will be fine
Crying won't make the pain subside
neither will loosing our own life
it's amazing how death can make you feel
so glad to be here, so glad to be... alive
So maybe it's for the best
just as some would say
But that doesn't heal the pain
When they're gone away
