Right into a light the blinded me so quickly, and I fell to the floor.
Pretending to be smooth, stumbling on every step alone,
But on my own, I'm useless.
It's a shame I can't remember the look of your face.
Because it was so beautiful.
And under the moon I'll follow dullen footsteps,
Hoping they actually lead somewhere, anywhere.
Too dark to see anything except the hands in front of me,
But I'll manage to walk away intact.
It's no wonder I can't trace your silhouette.
Because I can't even find you.
And here I am alone, searching for something that could quite possibly not exist.
But I know you exist.
Who else would hide in a place like this? A place I've always found you.
Just come out before it gets too dark to even see your eyes.
It's a shame I can't see the look on your face,
Once you see me envy it.
And I'll refrain from speaking, as long as you let me hold you.
But I can't hold out much longer, as it's getting quite cold out here.
