Christmas no.1?

I was just wondering what people thought about us maybe having a songwriting competition for the christmas no.1?

obviously the songs would have to have a 'christmassy' feel, and perhaps the mods, or more accomplished members such as zep (unless he wants to join in :naughty: ) could judge. anyway, just an idea that i thought we be quite cool and a bit of a laugh. :smoke:

Have a squiz at the songs in there, they all seem to be depressing ones, taking a rather cynical approach to Christmas (mine included). I pulled that one up just sitting at the computer at 1 in the morning, so it's not bad considering that, I think. One of the entries (by MomentaryHappiness) is just plain ****ed up, with Santa raping a young girl. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, or that people shouldn't write that stuff - just that it's really twisted.

I might have a go at a happy one after my somewhat morbid approach to my first attempt. I'll see how much time I have...
