This is the first establishment of a 3-piece song I plan on doing. The concept is the Apocalypse, which is one of the funnest things to write about, I think. This is a pretty extreme song, and the music and vocals sound a bit like the band Suffocation. If you haven't heard them, they are a brutual DM band, really good too. Anyways, tell me what you think, and leave a link and I'll crit your song.

Writings scrawled on an ancient epitome,
Colder than death, deeper than bone.
Sever the faith, sever the soul.
Endlessness awaits, the end foretold.
Centuries corrupt of the infernal high,
Azure fields and blasphemous hymns.
Too many wasted, bred to die,
Crimson shores and melting skies.
Seas dissolving, clouds fall away.
Death of the earth and the end of eternity.
Melting flesh, into an absolute grey,
Endless rot and mindless decay.
Surrender to the oblivion within,
Your souls are lost, burden of sin.
Bodily corrupt, decaying mind and skin,
Give your soul to the darkness within.
