From the quiet streets of Manhattan Beach, a new sound is rising. Glitchy beeps and erratic polyrhythms drone from the tangled wires of their drum machine and synthesizers. Gentle oscillating tones fill the room, as punchy bass lines puncture through distorted analog monotones. This is the next generation of noise. This is reptar!

 I think it's alright? but I mean... I could write this kind of music in 10 minutes with my keyboard and fruity loops.

wow, it really does sound like the boss level on an old nintendo game, but not nearly as musically accomplished, hilarious! its all very well going for a synth gimmick but you could at least try to put some effort into it, listen to death from above 1979, to hear proper use of synth, subtle and effective.
was that constructive enough, it was ****ing gay by the way ;)

Well......certainly, you're not going to go anywhere right now...not with THAT kind of song structure....im sorry....the synths were irritating at best....suicidal at worst....too much bass on vocals...bring up the high end on those...and please....what is he talking about? Lyrics? What?

you could write A LOT of very popular songs in about 10 minutes on fruityloops if it had a better guitar sound.

i don't see how it is a "synth gimmick". my best friend and i wanted to make music together, and we found that this was the best way to create the sound we wanted.
and go listen to some gabber/electronica/rave/other electronic genre. who is saying that is not the proper use of synth? synth does not have to be subtle.
and, by the way. you're an *******.

what exactly is wrong with the strong structure?
we recorded the whole thing ourselves on very crappy equipment, and the only things i know about mixing i learned from video production, so please excuse the quality.
and lyrics often do not make sense to the people reading them. go read some xiu xiu lyrics. i personally do not think that makes them bad.
sorry if i sound really "defensive". i don't actually care if you like it or not, i just wanted to know what other people think. but everyone on here is so close minded, and many of your crits seem to have no basis.
it seems as if half the people on here will not listen to anything that doesn't have a breakdown in it.
