It sonds really good when it started up I thought oh no its just gonna be another lame *** emo band but its not, its really good, the singer seem really good compared to most of the crap people post on here. The recording is great, one downer perhaps is that the recording to me sounds a little dull (I dont know it thats the right word to use) like its wrapped in cotten wool. It might sound better if you tryed to capture a more raw sound I guess that just an opinion though not an actual fault.

you guys arent indie, get your genre right.

your singer is pretty monotone, even though he has a good tone. from what i heard his range was about an octave. but i must say he does a good job at keeping his voice from cracking or anything. you guys are pretty tight, although you sound a little generic. the more i listen to his voice, he sounds way too ghostly, by the end of the song his voice was just sort of annoying. anyway, you the music still sounded very good, and the breakdown was decent.

Thank gpd, a singer that didn't make my ears bleed. You guys actually sound rather tight, and the fact that you have a passable vocalist (which many small bands don't have), is a definite bonus.

first off I'd like to thank everyone for posting on our topic. and I'd also like to apologize for any confusion with our genre (we try not to concern ourselves with genres very much)
I appreciate the honesty of everyone who posted.

i'm listening to shutdown right now and i like the production. good musicianship. good vox. veryfine.
