ok guys i have finally worked on making a progressive song....i know its probably not correctly a progressive song but its 7:48 in length and has many different parts....i could have changed tempos alittle more though...now keep in mind that this is just a sletch..it is a couple guitar tracks..finished there will be a complete band....ok but if youre up to it take a listen and if yu listen please listen to the whole thing as there are many parts.....its called progressive song so...please listen and critique thanks

ive added bass and drums...it adds more to the song and helps bring out each structure in the various parts..sp please listen and critique

it's kind of boring. I'd shorten the parts in to smaller sections, and like you said; change tempos more. the rhythem too, because you use the same basic thing the whole song. And the drums have little, if any fills, so work on it. Not bad though. Get a singer and write lyrics, and post it again:thumb:

Some really cool parts to the song. However I see no reason to drag it out for nearly eight minutes for the song does not have a great deal of dynamics or an explorative nature. Condense it to 4 or 5 minutes and it would be awesome.
