Is anyone getting anything music tech related/is appropriate for jam session?

I just won my ebay bid for a Tascam 424 MK3, It is most sexy, I'm gonna get me an electret mic too but I haven't decided which one.

I'm thinking about maybe getting mic set for my drums and a mixer. I havn't decided which ones yet.

She's fine I assume, I probably left her ironing or doing some other womanly task.

Don't forget, you may need some stands for those mics, which can be a bastard.

I would probably end up getting these stands. I've taped a mic to a hockey stick, and that wasn't to bad. I couldn't imagine these being worse.

I love the guy who rated it as 1 out of 5, It's hard to imagine why a mic stand kit can be subpar.
