I've been playing guitar for a while now and I love the thing but after having hours of fun over my friends house with his keyboard, I became interested in buying one. I'm not looking to play seriously in bands as a pianist, atleast no more than jamming with friends right now. So I just want something that I can satisfy some of my music theory curiousity and just have some fun with. I'm looking to spend no more than say $200, but I hope to get something with a decent sound and a lot of stuff I can mess around with, and if it's possible, some kind of screen on there that might tell me chords I play and stuff like that? I don't know if thats possible, but if it is I'm sure you guys would know, so any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks...

I have a keyboard that can do pretty much everything you're asking for. its about $200 (it might be a bit more). its a yamaha psr-293, if I'm not mistaken.
its got a lot of voices, chord dictionaries, accompaniments, and other interesting features.

Look at the Yamaha PSR Series. They are excellent. I can say, as a pianist, that the Acoustic Pianos on the Yamaha PSR series are excellent. They are very mellow, and pretty nice sounding.
If you can bend your cash range a little higher, I would reccomend the portable grand series from Yamaha. They have excellent Acoustic Pianos (better than the PSR series) and they have tons of more features and sounds. But that is your choice, and it all boils down to personal preference.
Have Fun,
Chris
