No.

is that supposed to be funny?

anyways, the "new" goldeneye is definately trying to cash in on the original n64 game name. most people dont look at the developer name. there thinking "oh my god, another goldfeneyeye!!!!!!" thinking its a seqel to the best FPS ever. think about it also, they couldve used any other movie from the series, but noooo, they just had to pick the goldeneye movie because of the name being known to people through the years of the n64 game. :thumb:

I sold my n64 and bought candy with the money.
Then I promptly downloaded 1964 and downloaded all the games that I didn't have.

Haha I've got a funny story about my NES, I pulled it out of my basement to see if it still worked. Saddly it didn't :upset: , then i noticed a 800 number on the side. I called the number, some chick picked up, and told her that it had broke and i wanted another. She fuking lauphed at me and said that I should probably consider getting a job and upgrading to a newer nintendo product.

Kind of off topic, but before PS1, what did Sony have console wise?

The jump from SNES to N64, in my opinion, was amazing.

It's still one of my favourite consoles out there.

They had nothing. the playstation was supposed to be a joint nintendo/sony project. if there was no nintendo, there would be no playstation. :thumb:

and yes snes and n64 did rock hard, people just seem to overlook its greatness. :upset:

I'm kind of confused on the whole RPG thing. An RPG is a game where you play as a specific character, right? Then Zelda: OOT would be an RPG, correct?

If that was what an RPG meant, then every game with any kind of character would be an RPG. No, zelda is not really considered an RPG. A good reason is there are no leveling up or stat points. You can only learn a linear set of skills and there are no experience points, so you can't really build your player up. Also, Zelda games usually dont take more than 15-20 hours to beat. Hell, I bet my friend I could beat Ocarina of Time in under 24 hours(of course this was after I beat it several times). Zelda is an Action/adventure game, I don't see where people think its an RPG. The only zelda that can be branded as an RPG is Zelda II-The Adventure of Link, because there were experience points and leveling up in that game. RPG's shouldnt really be labelled as RPG's because if its a role playing game, then just about every game you play puts you in the role of someone. RPG's should be named something else. :thumb:

See you auntie!

It does have RPG elements in it though: dungeons, big overworld where you can run around freely, sidequests, puzzles, and your character grows stronger over time (more hearts, better items, spells, ...).
