i use them occasionally, but only when i cant pass a certain level thats exteremely difficult.

Depending on the nature of the game, I use them once I've finished it naturally. For example, Vice City - finished it without cheating, then tried out all kinds of stuff just to have fun around the city afterwards.

I only use cheats when i have completed the game, and i always use, where i can, the invincebility cheat cause it is great fun to walk up to an enemy and blast him into ablivian.

I used them all the time in GTA III, but in Vice City i used them less, and in San Andreas im using them even less. I try not to use them too much when im actually doing missions, but when im just messin around i use them all the time.

I only use cheats when I'm really stuck. Which is not often. There's very little point buying a game if you're just gonna cheat to finish it.

I don't even use cheats. I use guides to get me through a tough area.

depends on what games. i use the all guns an infinite ammo and stuff when iw anna mess around, but i dont use walkthroughs, especially on zelda games.

-beaten the game
-it's a GTA game (not on missions)
-not an RPG
-rented and can't spend too much time on a difficult level.

The only game I used a cheat for before I beat it was the last level of Serious Sam. The bit outside the cathedral was just ridiculously long and boring so I whacked on god mode and all guns.

I often use strategy guides. Beating a game isn't as important to me as seeing the game through to the end.

And I especially use strategy guides for easter eggs and side stuff, which is of course of extreme importance for GTA. So very few people have the patience to find every single thing without any assistance... and those very very few people have my blessing.

Now watch as some twit posts and tries to tell us that they don't use a strategy guide on any GTA game and still got 100%.

i rarely use cheats. i just accept the fact i suck and stop playing. only, on doom 3 i wanted to finish and got tired of being scared ****less (i went to the crapper 3 times today (although those were caused by something else)). i only started using god mode near the end of hell, so i'm not too bad.
