Half Life 2 released?

Hmm...so my friend tells me he saw HL2 in a game store the other day, and Amazon.co.uk says the release date is/was Nov 16th.....if it is indeed out....I'm quite surprised no-one has mentioned it. Is it really that bad? Or is it so good that people can't tear themselves away from it long enough to write "I have it, it rocks, gotta go"?

If it isn't actually out...then hey don't I look stupid. Hehe.

Cool! Why no reviews/comments here though? Wierd. Everyone's in Halo2 fever, but to be honest the prospect of another Half Life game was always far more exciting to me than another console FPS - after all, FPS sucks without a mouse and keyboard...that's a fact ;)

actually there have been a few comments, look in the thread called Half Life\Half Life 2, or something like that..around page 2ish.
