Any fans of MGS series here?

Im trying to pass the time till MGS3 (I made the mistake of have gamestop ship it ground, now ive got to wait 10 friggin days) so what do you guys think of the Metal Gear games? Ive played all MGS1 & 2, and am playing the Metal gear games for NES.

Anyway, Theres 4 games I'm interested in that come out today/tomarrow.

Half Life 2
Metroid Prime 2
Baten Kaitos
MGS3

This is the order I'm getting them in most likely.

HL2/MP2--->Baten Kaitos--->MGS3

I was severely disapointed with MGS2 so I dont want to risk buying another game with a stupid storyline that had too many plot twists.

i was just looking at some info on it on ign and it looks pretty amazing, but with half life 2, gta:sa, and halo 2 i dont really have the need yet. And gran turismo comes out soon...and ratchet and clank is a must have :( i need so much

i never saw the appeal of ratchet and clank, i played the first one and its just a platformer and the i got a demo of the new one, 3 i think, and its the same, i did like jak n dexters first game though. why the hell is there such a big gap between the us/uk release of mgs3? **** you.

I loathe the first MGS. never played the second through. i will sometime soon though, kind of busy with Kingdom Hearts and GTA San Andreas right now
