I don't think there's going to be either of those two games any time soon. The Starcraft universe is currently being used for Starcraft Ghost and I recall reading somewhere that the division of Blizzard that made Diablo and Diablo 2 broke away from Blizzard and are doing their own thing now.

As for Diablo 2, I haven't played that game in a while because I seem to have lost my CD. Even if I remembered my characters, they'd have been deleted by now anyway so there's no point.

hacks are bad on open b-net, on closed there not so bad tho, i used to play it... occasionly i have the erge to play it.. like right now... but usually i dont give into it
Its fun makeing new characters and owning in pvp, its not fun going on MF runs.
I used to have all the good stuff for pvp, but all deleted now, and ill never do mf runs again, so if i was to play it would just be to lvl and make a character.

As for Diablo 2, it is infested with bots, hacks, dupes and various glitches, and the worst part about it Blizzard does not care about it any more. They do not work on it to fix these things, they are to worried about games that will actually bring money to them.

I played Diablo 2 for 3-4 years, great game and all, but a waste of time as of late and the 1.9 patch. Very addictive, its like crack, and need to feed your addiction with a higher dose of it every day.

When I quit I had mules full of all the runewords from the new ladder season and such, but they all expired because I forgot about them.

I vow never to go back to that game ever again.

i hardly ever playe online so the highest level i ever got to was about 32 when i beat the game the first time. then i beat it again at 28. that would be a cool challange to see who could beat it at the lowest level.


i really hope they do another diablo, despit the break away. i haven't seena any other games like it. they said sacred was just as good but that games pisses me off too much.

well really the point isnt to beat it. that is impossibly easy. If you really want to beat the game try playing alone and beating it on hell. otherwise, its just fun leveling up.

Ring1: 250/20 Raven Frost. No substitutions here kiddies.

Ring2: High str rare or craft with some leech and AR. dex or life/mana would be good here too. The leech on this ring will aid you in "tracking" with multi-shot, letting you know when you hit by showing the leech "swirly" on your character.

Gloves: Hitpower craft gloves. +2 passive/kbk/20% ias are a must. (Hitpower craft guarantees Knockback)

Stack: 1 Annihilus and 39 3/20/5% runners. Resistance is nearly worthless in zvz, provided you can run faster than a CS zon. This build out-runs multi-shot, strafe, and guided arrow easily.

Helm: Artisans of Mammoth helm 120-45 ias.

Armor: Light-type Jewelers of Whale 160-60 ias.

Belt: Blood Craft with 10% ds, FHR, str and life (v1.09 craft GL finding one -.-" ) or perfect vita/replenish verdungo for a life boost... possibly tgods if you prefer the extra lit absorb (lol?) iso 20 vita from 'dungo. the DR factor is irrelevent with the amount of life you have. Other possibilities incluse Nosferatu's Coil, for slows target, or Mavina's Tenet, for 20% fast r/w.

Boots: Marrowwalk. Why? Bone Prison and Lifetap charges. 20 r/w.. high dual stat... 'nuff said.

On your switch:
cta/lidless pre-buff for battle orders etc. before you duel, then go to the stash and switch-up to low requirement "Fury" runeword weapon (i recommend a flail) and the Whitstans Guard shield low reqs for high blocking. again, we're saving stats and DR is a non-issue, so no SS).

Stat and skill placement:
shouldn't need more than 9x-11x STR
dump the rest into DEX
no VIT
no ENG

Javelin and Spear Tree:
no points allotted here

Passive and Magic Tree:
heavy investment here

1 Inner Sight
1 Slow Missile
1 Decoy
1 Valkyrie
1Critical Strike ( ??! any more points would be redundant with this build)
13 Penetrate (attack rating for multi shot)

How to zvz with this build basic tutorial:
Track with multi, use corners to aim ga. Keep in mind that GA travels nearly 3 screens before it craps out. You can hit your opponent with IGA, if you know how to lead and aim.
Speaking of multi, thats why we're using the ar charms instead of poison. Them multi arrows are far more likely to pass the opponent, but it DOES require an AR. Now shooting at 7 FPA with this bow, you'll score a hellofa lot more hits with higher AR, meaning you're more likely to trigger the Amp curse (from your CMat of Amp ^^ ). When you can get a volley of Guided Arrows off, IMMEDIATELY swith to the
"Fury"/WG combo to ensure ALL hits checked for DS will roll it.
KEY: Multi triggers amp, GA hits DS+Amp Every time. Lifetap charges can get you out of a bad situation, too...
on Slow Missile: UsE it *whenever* possible. We're playing to win, right?

The hardest part is avoiding being hit, using the decoy and valkyrie effectively against opposing GA. I cannot merely explain how this is done, but rather i can say it requires a LOT of practice, setting up and recasting quickly, and in 1 cast to save precious mana for multi shot. Just... try to put it where you think the next volley of ga will come from, using your multi to track the others movement.
Avoiding Multi, otoh is easy. Run away from it and reposition yourself.

Melee amazons are just ... easy. run-dodge-shoot-repeat. If you can't do this. Stop playing. Seriously.

This build is finished.

An all around variant for this build would substitute several (say half) 3/5's for 5/5 res/run charms, dump vit instead of dex, and use shaftstop, windforce, and lacerator/lance guard on switch. Good for pubby ffa duels.

Oh, and one more thing... did you read the disclaimer at the top? No? Go do that right now.

i always have an assassin. the one i have now is a MA one with tiger strike maxed and dragon claw maxed too.i also have burst of speed high and cloak of shadowness.

(search for "hack pack" if you want it, it works and easy to work) i dont concider it hacking cuz its only a map hack, a thing that picks up gold and rare items when you get in clicking range automaticly, a thing that tells when rare items are on the ground, and something that doesnt allow anyone to hack into your account. and it works on closed b net yay :chug:

D2 i only played single player,it's quite boring.hate the HUGE landscapes,to get somewhere i gotta run for Miles and miles,fighting stupid AI'less characters.the only thing that kept me going is the cool abilities of the necromancer and the assasin and some niffty items.and to think i bought the expantion at the same time,i wasted a lot.so i ditched it and cant continue on at the harder levels.

if i remember properly at the expantion i got some golden headband that increases your damage by adding ice damage at each hit,i works like a charm with my assasin......heheh,*whack* (insert demon here) slows,*whack*whack*whack* (insert demon here) still fozen.........*whack* (insert demon here) dies........

honestly, diablo 2 could be the worst game of all time. dont get me wrong, i used to be addicted as hell when it first came out, but the gameplay is horrendously repetitive, its basically just a treasure hunt. its like accessorization for guys (nerds). you dont do anything, you just run around clicking one button and hoping you get good stuff, so that you can go around and... kill the same exact monsters (different colors and names just doesnt cut it blizzard) over and over. ill stick with blizzards RTS games.
