Hi, I am considering taking a music course at a JC:

Music 144AB Popular Vocal Techniques (2)
Popular solo and group singing styles and interpretation. May be
taken for grades or on a credit-no credit basis. One hour lecture,
two hours studio. Transfer Credit: CSU.

I am also considering getting a singing teacher, but they are
expensive around here (over $30 for 1/2 hr), and I have had 5 vocal
lessons at $60 per 1/2 hr previously which I have tape recorded.

Any advice? (I am trying to learn/get back to pop rock, and recover from vocal problems...)

*thanks*

OCC (orange coast college in Costa Mesa, California) units are way cheap - $26 a unit. this is a 2 unit course, I am probably going to take it after work along with possibly some singing lessons from a private instructor in the meantime and maybe during this class...

seems like a good idea anyway.
