The thing is I have played it before with different rules. We allowed duel wielding, but camping wasnt allowed(unless there were only 2 or 3 people left).


How do you play Real Life?

I've never played with duel weilding allowed, but I have played it where you have to move every minute/other minute/whatever. It's a lot harder that way, because when you come out you have no chance.. and even if camping is allowed, the zombies usually win anyway.

In Real Life, you get no shields and only one life. Two or three teams usually.

I wasn't even going to drive over there anymore because it's too risky with the turns, but the other guy who was on top of the center thing told me about it and told me to drive through it. As I went towards it I heard cries of "Hold the line!!" :lol:

Anyway, I decided to play Ninja Gaiden instead of Halo 2.. I forgot how awesome that game was. The hurricane pack makes everything so much harder.. I was playing in the church and those airborne things + the new catwomen are a deadly combo.. it's so annoying when you finally get a combo through on the catwomen, the flying thing hits you with its sword and half kills you. :mad:

I advise you to consider buying it. I've played it 66 hours so far. It's an awesome game.. I've beaten it three times (Normal, Hard and Very Hard) and I'm working on Hurricane Pack 1. Awesome graphics and gameplay. Besides the replay value of Halo 2 on XBL, in my opinion NG is a far better game then Halo 2.

I doubt it, since you have to use your ethernet port to connect your X-boxs, you wont have an available one to connect to the internet.

I dont see how a router would help in this situation.

To play using linked X-boxs you have to go to system link. If you go to system link, you have to sign out of XBL. So you cant play it online.

Plug the internet connection into the router, then the two Xboxes into the router. So I guess if the Xboxes are able to connect with each other through the router, you may be able to go though to the internet together, but I doubt it would work. :(

Wtf? It's not a big deal. If you have two people who want to play, and only one account, then someone has to go as a guest on the other's XBOX. If both people have Live, then just each play on separate XBOX's. You can't use two XBOXs to play online with only one account.

All you need is cable or DSL if you get Live, that has nothing to do with your computer. And that's $40 or $70 depending on the package you get. But if you don't want to spend the money for that, there;s always Xbox Connect, which is free, but I think it runs through your computer. If I were you, I'd get Xbox Live if at all possible. :thumb:

Its very well structured game. Having only played on it at my mate's house because i've got the ps2, I can't say much for the levels.
However, I can say that the graphics are as good as the ones in Halo 1 if not better.
The gameplay is alot more advanced but easily controlled.

I don't think the Xbox can work that way. What you can do is put the router next to the Xbox, hook it up directly, and have the signal transimitted wirelessly to the computers.

Yes, you can. I bought a wireless hub when I got XBL. The adapter isn't cheap, though. I bought Linksys, and depending what network type you have it'll either cost you $79 or $99 for the adapater. Easy setup though, and it's also easy to manually set everything from the XBL settings menu.

I know, I was trying to join. XBL was being gay though, sometimes you get error messages involving "cannot connect to network blah blah" when trying to join parties. Gilmour and I have that problem a lot.
the dumb thing about halo 2 is i thought u would get to face computers in mult. player like in goldeneye and also you cant roll or jump for cover or anything like that.... only crouch :mad:

I was playing Team Slayer with a full party anyway. I had the best game I've ever played on Collasaus, which isn't hard since I usually suck *** at that level.. I had 25 kills and 4 deaths. The enemy team had only 26 kills. :cool:

I had the two best Head to Head matches ever today. I beat one guy 10-0. :lol: He was pretty decent, but I outsmarted him a bunch of times when we were sneaking around and we knew where the other one "was."

The second one wasn't really a good match, but I felt so good after winning. As soon as I was matched with this dumbass, he starts talking ****. I don't bother saying anything, so he talks more **** like "that's right, don't say anything ******, I'm gonna beat your ****ing ***." Fast forward till the last 30 seconds of the match, I'm up 9-6 (he's been talking **** the entire time, except when I nail his dumb *** even though I only have SMG and Pistol and he has rockets). He says "It's a good thing we're running out of time, I would have owned your ***." With about 10 seconds left we run into each other, and he misses with both rockets. I kill him for my 10th kill. Man that felt so good, I hate dumbasses who constantly talk ****. When it ended I just said something like you suck *** for all the **** you talk. :lol:

Yea, same here, but this guy was 10x worse then anyone else I've come up against. I usually just turn off my mic for Head to Heads.

I've also learned that being "honorable" gets you a quick loss. If there's a noob boomer or noob stick on the map, you have to get them at all costs, because it's garaunteed that if you don't.. the other guy will, and he'll use them every chance his dumb no talent *** gets.

i dont know if any of you have tried or seen this but its pretty cool. pick up some rockets and a sword, use all the rockets so it is empty. then when your aimer is on an enemy and is red, hit R trigger and Y a bunch over and over and if you hit them right, you will lunge all the way to the enemy. i doubt it would be good for in a game unless you got really good at it as it takes a bit for it to work, but its fun.

Just hit Y, then R twice.. really fast. Then press X to cancel the actual sword attack.

Hahaha that reminds me.. once I was playing Zombies on Waterworks. Everyone but two people were turned into zombies, and we couldn't find them so we were playing follow the leader. After like 5 minutes of running around, our leader was like "now for the ultimate test.." and jumped off into the abyss in the middle. Our entire team (about 13 people) jumped off after him. It was so ****ing funny. When the other two humans were killed they were like what the **** were you guys doing. :lol:

So he did, and the people we played with kept telling us to shut up. Then we won. Those ppl on team training suck balls. Me and him always come in at first and second. I had a big LAN yesterday at my house, about 14 of us. We had a team CTF on coagulation and a team CTF on headlong (my personal favourite map). It was ace. I would love to get live, but I don't have broadband, because I actually think I would do well. I am one of 4 out of my mates that are always the best in these LANs that we have, so I would like to see how good I would do. I had 247 kills in a match yesterday when the nearest was 170 or something, woohoo!

As for the campaign, I think the arbiter missions are great. I did hate the ending for a while but once I thought about it, it is a good thing because it means we will almost certainly have Halo 3. Legendary mode is so hard this time round. I like the 2 player where you both have to survive for the whole level.

All in all, a fantastic game methinks!

As long as you don't come up against a real good sniper, which is pretty rare, they're easy enough to avoid.. but as a guy who constantly fires the most shots (by far) in games, I prefer face to face fights.

ahhhhh...im sick of terrible teammates, I got 29 kills and 9 deaths, including a running riot and another killing spree, but my teammates just run in and die. At then end it was close and I got a fresh sniper rifle, so i tell them to stay out of the base, but no, they rush in and die and we lose.
