Zanzibar is by far my favorite level. You can do any type of game mode on it and it works ecceptionaly well. My fav, free for all phantoms, with only sniper rifles. :naughty: nothing get's my juices going that that setup

If you create the game, yes. You can't choose the games you play in Matchmaking, that's the worst part about X-Box Live.

You can go into Matchmaking with friends though.

Campaign and storywise? Inferior to Halo. Gameplay and Multiplayer wise, beats Halo down with Plasma Rifles - Dual Wielded. I'd like to see Halo 1 Dual Wield.

It's not really an ending, it's like a cutscene between levels, except there's no level 16.


The Arbiter finally catches up with Tartarus in the control room of Halo. Arbiter asks the Guilty Spark 343 thing what the purpose of Halo is etc to prove to Tartarus that the prophets lied to them and it's not a "great journey." Guilty Spark 343 says that the people who created all the rings (the Forerunners) did it to eliminate all possible flood hosts so they (the flood) couldn't survive. The Forerunners were forced to activate some rings and were killed along with all the life in three galaxies or something. Tartarus puts the icon into it's place anyway, which activates the ring. You then kill Tartarus, and Miranda rips out the icon. The ring still fires some weird beam thing into the space in the middle of Halo, which explodes pretty harmlessly. Guilty Spark 343 says the ring is now communicating with the other rings which are now on standby mode after emergency shutdown. They can still all be activated by remote activation. The cutscene fades to black after the Arbiter asks where you can remotely activate the rings, and 343 says "Why, the Ark of course."

Then it switches to the Master Chief who managed to get onboard the Covanent Forerunner ship that is going back to Earth to finish what they started. The last scene you see is the ship exiting hyperspace above Earth where there's still fighting going on in space. MC radios the Admiral and the Admiral is like "Master Chief? What are you doing here?" and MC says "Finishing the fight, sir."

After the credits roll, you see a short cutscene back on the blown up High Charity. Cortana is still alive, and the weird sea creature that sent MC and the Arbiter their separate ways wants to ask her some questions.

I've finally beaten the first level on Legendary. Its getting easier now. Took me forever to get past that room with the boxes and the two grunts in the turrets on the top level, and the boarding ship. There was like 20 Elites to kill, and those bastards always hid behind stuff after you hit them, so they would recharge. Its all about the dual plasma pistols charged+blast from afar+whip out the battle rifle+cap fool in the head. The plasma pistol and the submachine dual wielding is also an excellent combo.

With this, you start the games last level, and when Johnson asks you to pilot a banshee, you have the second player pilot a banshee and have him preform a few barrell rolls. Once you've done this, you play through the level normally until the end. This unlocks foundation.

Am I the only person in the world who finds Halo's (and Halo 2 from what ive heard) single player campaign increadibly, annoyingly repetitive and unimaginative?? Id probly rate it as 1st= with diablo 2 for mind numbing repetitiveness.

I just bought halo 2.

Teh vehicles suck in single player (warthog mostly) compared to the first one. But it's still cool. The levels do drag on for too long at times, but you get that.

Still can't beleive they didn't put AI in splitscreen. Why the hell wouldn't you!!?

After just ten battles on the net with a full sixteen people in a team slayer i have killed 81 people and only been killed 3 times. There was only three people in the team. But we ruled. One sniper. ME. and two to assult. :thumb:

That's only 8.1 kills per round. Nothing impressive.

I'm sure you can still join the clan or whatever, but that's nothing to boast about.

Blood Gulch is one of my main problems. You spawn Sooooo Farrrr Away from the base sometimes. There are no weapons that you start out with that can be used for mid-range fighting.

its not really a problem if u know wat ur doing. wat i do is spin around in a circle to make sure im safe and head for the base. ight.

Yea. I want to play with all weapons, that's why I'm playing matchmaking not some stupid custom game.

The thing I hate the MOST is rifle slayers head to head! I lost two matches because of that bullshit on Lockout. I'm not a sniper, that's why the game has OTHER WEAPONS BESIDE FRIGGING RIFLES.

Haha then the next match, it was Lockout again but thankfully regular weapons. Well the other guy had a sword, and he was in that room where the plasma pistol always spawns and it's by the ramp going up to the sniper spot. I was in the walkway facing the ramp. We stayed like that literally for about two minutes with him trying to toss nades at me. He laughed and said it looks like we're at a standoff. I told him I wasn't coming in because I knew he had a sword, and he said he wasn't coming out because he knew I had two big guns. I finally left the walkway and let him come out..but it was hilarious at the time. :lol:

What makes it really hilarious is when three people are in a Warthog, then the driver gets jacked. A team member driving around enemy gunner and passenger = aceness. The driver tries to run over one team, and the gunner/passenger are shooting at the other team. :lol:

Yea. It's so funny when people try and use the banshee on that one level... I forget the name. It has the weird circle thing in the middle with three things sticking up from it and the tower on one side. They always come in real close to try and splatter you and then.. boarded!

I dont remember the name either but Im sure I know what level you are talking about... Me and my boyfreind play that one alot, its fun because there are things in the map you can play with...

But I like how they kept but modified some of the old maps from Halo (1).

The aliens have better weapons in this one too, and some of the new vehicles are rad.

A Sniper? That is the lamest, cheapest thing I have ever heard. Snipers piss me off. It is so easy to just chill out in some remote place and pick fools off. Sniper rifles should have random rounds in them that blow up in your face to discourage the use of them.

It is also really easy to sneak up on them and assasinate them. And it is impossible to aim it at someone up close out of the scope.

Snipers are in every gun game, deal with it.
