Okay, I play Halo 2 on Xbox Live for an hour minimum everyday (If I am at home of course) and am a level 16 on Rumble Pit, however, I cannot seem to get up to level 17. Can someone explain to me how the stat system works and what the medals you supposedly "win" during a match do and what they count for, what all the individual medals are etc etc....there must be reason behind this madness.... :thumb:

MGS film is in progress. Thomas Jane(The punisher) is said to be Solid Snake. It is an oriignal storyline i believe, or thats what Hideo Kojima said. He is over-seeing the story, so i cant imagine the story to be anything other then good.

Playing MLG doesn't make you a better player than someone who plays exclusively matchmaking. I hardly ever play MLG setting custom games and I've gotten my level up to a 34(It's down to a 32 or something now, but I don't care, I play with friends, for fun.) And that's all that matters. The kid wanted to know a good map for shotguns and swords. Just answer the ****ing question and quit acting like you're above everyone.

As for an actual suggestion to the kid who wanted a map for shotguns, I'd say midship. Swords always seems most fun(although still rather annoying for me) on either Beaver Creek or Lockout.

Lockout i agree with, but i'm going to have to say i despise Beaver Creek. Sanctuary is much better, because it is small, and also possesses at the same time, a healthy mix of hiding places and wide open spaces.

Levels don't mean anything. Going by the people I've played, after level 30 there's no real skill improvement and sometimes they really blow. The highest level I've played was a 44 and he was terrible. He should have been like at level 12.

Halo is a team game. 1vX is not a team battle. Head vs Head is the most retarded game type on matchmaking, and it's stupid in custom games as well.

Mmhmm. Once someone else gets the power weapons and position, you just keep getting spawned with your SMG and get raped. Games over in a matter of minutes. That's what happened to the kid I played. I got snipe and rockets on Acension and just sat there picking him off. It was just good luck that I spawned so near the good weapons.

yeah true^^^^, but i only have two working controllers. i just lost the plug to my third one. besides, im working on cairo station on legendary, but i can't get past the 2nd hangar. My preferred weapons for Cairo are plasma rifle and and battle rifle, and its not going that well. Can someone help me? Should i dual wield a magnum and plasma rifle to take out the elites better, or what?

And multiplayer 1v1 is fun(at first), but gets tedious. EPECIALLY on Assault or other games hat suck on 1v1.

haha.... ummmmm, I don't think so. Sniper rifle is all about skill, it takes a long time to learn how to use it as well as be good with it. If you can master sniping, you can own anyone. My friend and I are some of the best no scopers that I've seen play.

To be honest, I don't know how I haven't lost one yet. I've had quite a few close ones, just luck I guess. And I have a rather fast internet connection so that helps quite a bit as well.

It helps because 90% of the games I play, I get host. So it's easier for me to snipe, use the battle rifle, and best of all, use the shotgun. It simplifys things a bit.

Not exactly, and you're not being an idiot, I'm just a bit of a nerd when it comes to stupid stuff like this. But basically, the game is hosted by someone in the game, usually by whoever has the fastest connection. Everyone else in the game is in a way playing off of their connection. So for whoever that person is, it's a bit easier to do certain things. Not exactly, and you're not being an idiot, I'm just a bit of a nerd when it comes to stupid stuff like this. But basically, the game is hosted by someone in the game, usually by whoever has the fastest connection. Everyone else in the game is in a way playing off of their connection. So for whoever that person is, it's a bit easier to do certain things. yeah, it is a bit unfair in the end I suppose, but it won't make someone a better player. It just makes things a bit easier;)

Hahah, like I said.. Head to Head is retarded. However, I was playing that tonight because none of my friends were online. I went 9-0, getting to level 10. The highest level I played was a 34, a 30, a 24 and some others. It's so funny because you never have to actually get 10 kills... once you get to about 6-0 or so, they always quit. I think the only game I had to actually finish was Ball Duel on Elongation, where I won by over a minute.

Oh yea, and this one match on Midship was hilarious. The guy kept whining about how I had host and that's the only reason I was beating him. That's after I had shotty and owned him even though he had the sword (easy to do, even if you're not on host). I just left the sword where it fell and killed him a few more times as he tried to get it. Then I finally took it and killed him with it. He then started whining about how the sword is such a newb weapon. He then went to the good ol' noob combo, and whined some more after I raped him with shotty yet again. Overall that was the funniest match I've ever played.

My buddy (figure out which one he is) and I got split up, but we did pretty good on opposing teams. He got quite a few more kills then I did, but I got significantly fewer deaths. I found a new favorite spot to camp out on that map for snipers! Overall it was a painful raping for everyone besides us.

I don't know, with no radar, it makes you more alert and aware of whats going on, instead of relying on the radar. However, I only like playing w/out radar on a few gametypes, because I get pissed off too easily.

The #1 thing that pisses me off is BAD TEAMMATES! I was playing TS and we kept getting 2 horrible teammates. We could have won every single game if we had decent players, but we simply couldn't kill faster then our retarded monkey teammates died. :mad: At least I got up to a 26. :cool:

Everyone I play with already is looking around. Radar or not doesn't affect me, although like I said before sometimes I like it because you can try to out-think another guy that you can see on your radar before you both sneak around.

It's a first person shooter where you battle a holy war against an alien faction known as the Covenant. Team Hardcore is fun to a point. I think if they had made it more slayer weighted, I'd play it alot more. I don't mind some objectives here and there, but when I play ten matches, and 9 are CTF 5 on Warlock, it's time to fix something. I've also come to not care about having a radar or not. I heavily prefer it, but now it doesn't matter to me either way. When you think about it, in team games, it really hardly alters things at all anyway.
