Perfect Dark.. I don't know how anyone could pick GoldenEye unless they are a fan of the movie really.

Only thing I can remember from Perfect Dark was "The Grid" and Super Dragons.

PD wouldn't be here without out Goldeneye, but PD's superior multiplayer won me over so good. I only did 2 missions for the "real game" thing and I still play it, the multiplayer and the guns are incredible.

Both great games. But Perfect Dark gets my vote because of all the extra stuff there was.
For example the shooting range was pretty **** hard for some weapons (laser, magnum for me) and I enjoyed challenging my mates for 'Highest Score'. The multiplayer is the best ive seen on a console (Only rivalled by Timesplitters 2 for pretty much the same reasons). There was just so much you could do.
The weapons were also more fun as they were multi functional.

well it gives a huge boost to every single game graphically. it also allows you to play 4 player instead of two with some games. i can only remember perfect dark and turok that did this but anyways... it improves the frame rates

I loved both, but Goldeneye is much more classic than Perfect Dark. One of the reasons I play goldeneye multiplayer instead of PD multiplayer is the framerate. I have 5 days logged on my PD multiplayer, but the framerate in goldeneye's was so much smoother. If goldeneye had PD's multiplayer options and the secondary fire mode, it would be perfect.

perfect dark was an upgrade of goldeneye. even had a few of the same maps. oerfect dark had better weapons, it had bots, and a better story. but goldeneye still rocks, without goldeneye perfect dark wouldent exist.

I still think the coolest thing about perfect dark were the sentry guns you could set up. Sure, they didn't have infinite ammo, but you could corner people into walking into em every time.

PD is definitely better than Goldeneye. Sure, Goldeneye is a "classic", but that's like saying everyone should only use MS-DOS because it's old.

PD had better missions, more weapons, much better multiplayer, better everything..
