Here's a link where you can find a complete set of jazz independance rudiments for drums (free):
http://www.stickcontrol.com/

Click on the link "swing" in the upper right corner. Yeah, it's in German but the sheet music isn't :)

The site is created by a professor of music named Christoph Niessen. He speaks fluent German, French and English.

I've been trying to find the sheet music to John Coltrane's take on Favorite Things for years, does anyone know if it's available online (not MIDI - I've tried) or has it, and is willing to scan it?
Thanks

Does anyone here have a online fakebook for bass?

If you can play chord progressions, just use these fakebooks! they're in C, and some jazz tunes don't have bass parts because most jazz bassists just play off the chord progressions.

i believe you can BUY fake-books for base now, though I've never used one to see how good the changes are, and I've never understood what they put in that you don't get in a lead sheet... must be insane to call it a fake/real book, and write out the basslines. Defeats the purpose, does it not?
