One of the best fighting games ever. This is one of my favorite games for sega. Just talk about this game here. If any one needs move for a character I know a lot of them.

This game is like 10 years old...I'm sure people who still play it have figured out the moves heh. Anyway, yeah MK2 is probably the best fighting game ever overall, especially for the time it came out. Animalities, babalities, fatalities, etc. were genius.

Hell yeah, this was one of my favourite games back in the day. I ordered a guide for it from America and it came with some pages missing :(

But yeah, MKII sat proudly in my SNES for much time all those years ago :)

I played it when I was a kid but never had it. Then one day a couple years ago my friend gave some of his old sega games: Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Road Rash II, Sonic the Hedgehog, Spiderman, and Vectorman 2. The only good ones were Mortal Kombat II and Sonic the Hedgehog. Getting the first Sonic was cool because it was the only one i didn't have.

I don't think it's the best fighting game ever but it is a very awesome game. I always used Reptile. He was the only one that I knew the fatality for. Plus he could go invisible and that green ninja outfit kicked ass.

Sub-Zero's fatality is:
hold low punch then back back down forward then release low punch

This makes him shoot a freeze ball that makes the person explode.

His other fatality is back, back, back punch. THAT one is even easier to remember.

Is MK2 the MK with the spike pit?

Let's Chop Cats!

No, that was MK 1, MKII is the one where the pit is just a flat ground and MKIII the pit is spinning saw like blades.

I think MKII is better.

My favourite fatality was Shang Tsung's Kintaro morph. You had to hold low punch for the entire second round (presuming you'd won the first) and then release it at 'Finish Him'. He morphed into Kintaro and puched their torso off

Those spinning blades in MKIII scared the shit out of me the first time I saw them.

The best part about the pit was being able to fight Reptile in the first game.

Fighting Reptile in the first game is pointless. He's just like scorpion.

your right, fighting reptile was pointless because once you fight him and beat him, nothing happends, no unlocked characters/arena's. nothing.

MK ultiment > MKIII
