What are some of your favorite fighting games?

All the Tekkens kick serious ass (except the first one. I used to like it when it was the only one out but after playing 2 and above I always thought that the graphics were bad and the gameplay was too slow.) Mortal Kombat is great too. I haven't played the new one but I played all the old ones and I own Deadly Alliance.

capcom fighters are usually pretty fun, but my fav is probably the tekken. i might have to rent that, but probably instead borrow virtua fighter 4 from a buddy... since it's easy and cheaper and pretty fun as well

Mortal kombat trilogy is the BEST Fighting game EVER!!!!

me and a friend of mine was so good no one stood a chance..!!!

both of us know all brutalities, fatalities, babalities, animalitys and all moves and we even knew some 99 hit combos!!!!

I'm a big fan of the Tekken games, I was watching a preview trailer for Tekken 5 last night and it looks great.

I prefer the Mortal Kombats because I play them for the gore and fatalities.

^I grew up on the Tekken games.

First time I played Tekken I was about 7.

I grew up on MK for the Genesis and I was roughly 6, I fell in love with the 16 bit gore and fatalities immediately. Last year I bought Tekken 4, I beat the game with a couple of people but it just wasnt as much fun for me. There were no comical or special moves, the only weapons are your body, and no blood/gore/any sign of injury.

BUT
Tekkan's storylines > MK's hands down. :chug:

I'm not a fan of fighting games, but I enjoy most of the Tekkens.

I was really a fan of SNKs stuff. They had it all, fast gaming; scantly clad women; weird story... all there...

Super Street Fighter 2 was the best game ever for a long time. Then I got obsessed with Street Fighter Alpha 3 for PS1. And then Soul Calibur 2 came along, the ultimate button masher's game. But Super Street Fighter 2 is still closest to me.

I'm ashamed no one said DOA. Those games on Xbox are fun.

^^^I much prefer DOA2 to DOA3, the final boss on DOA3 is stupid and all down to luck. DOA2 has a better fighting system and has a much better multiplayer.

I like SC2, feels very free, not like your tied down to the arena. Plus the weapons are a great bonus making all of the characters very different.

My favourite has to be Primal Rage, nothing better than dinosaurs beating each other while killing innocent cave men.

I completly can't remember what its called, but you could turn into animals and become really strong. Some of the characters on that were really unique and I liked beating up a wolf with a bunny. Please, someone remind me what it's called.

The boss on DOA 3 is simple. You run up to him and punch twice, not thrice, which would cause him to fall. You just be cheap and hit slowly so he cant attack, yet you can slowly kill him.

Plus, you get to watch hot chicks with big **** in skimpy costumes fight and jiggle.

I think you're thinking about the Bloody Roar series.

That's what I like about it. When you fight someone in real life you don't usually have samurai swords and when you punch them in the chest they don't bleed like crazy(Unless they're a ***** ).
