But yeah, if a Heisman favorite, freshman RB goes out with an injury, keep him out so he doesn't get seriously injured.

i think he wanted to bring him in to make sure he was fine, i know its stupid but that could be the reason, and to get him yards for the heisman race

That's still an irresponsible reason. Peterson's still a freshman, he can win a Heisman next year or in his junior year...assuming Bob Stoops doesn't end his career this year.

I don't think it's a big deal. It just shows that Peterson is tough, and that the injury wasn't serious.
