I'm at 96.26%!

I'm pretty sure all I have left to do to get to 100% is beat level 12 paramedic, beat the four Ammu-Nation challenges, beat the NRG-500 challenge and beat the last storyline mission which I still haven't gotten around to trying again.

Do the paramedic missions in Angel Pine, it makes the very easy. Unless you like having them be impossible.

one glitch that happened to me : I tried to drive through a small gap...i couldnt revers of accelerate so i tried to get out....when I got out i got shot to the other side of San Fierro...it shot me so far and so fast i didnt realise it happened, that it is until i noticed that i was on top of a building)

That happened 2 me by Jizzy's business place....I tried riding up the ramps on the scaffolding on a BMX, I kinda got stuck at the turn so I pressed Triangle and flew about 150 foot away next to the road.........luckily I could just run back and get my BMX :p

I'm talking about wether you like the corporate feel of vice city where you buy businesses and own the town with retail.

Or in SA, do you like the gangsta' feel, being in a gang and gang violence etc..

Or do you like the whole Mafia feel (somewhat) in GTA:3? and working for Salvatore

I personally like working for the mafia in GTA:3 and being to far in the "inside" that you have to be killed but you don't and etc...

Vice City I don't like the corporate feel and buying properties because I just don't, Tommy looks to much of a tight *** for me

Inbetween I like the gang feeling of SA, it's a new experience, but SA gang type should be combined with GTA:3 and have like 4 or 5 mafia families going at it like in Godfather

Anyone tried hitchhiking? Just where you jump on the back of a Truck Cab or a pickup truck or one of those trucks with wooden frame on the back.......They just drive you place.......and if you shoot they get scared and go faster

If only GTA3 could've been done as well as San Andreas... I think the setting of GTA3 was perfect. Although it would never happen, I'd love to see Rockstar re-release it for $20, implenting a bunch of changes to it.

This is late, but I actually like Vice City more then the other two sometimes. You can't go wrong with a Scarface theme, and it seems like you accomplish more because of the corporation you set up.

hold R1 to point the thing at a fire and hold L1 to shoot it at the fire. remember, when clearing doorways, you only have to do one side to open it, and always try and go around fire if there is sufficient space.

Also, did anyone else figure out how to get the jetpack to shoot straight up buildings that are normally taller than the jetpack can reach? Whenever the jetpack encounters a slightly sloped obstacle, its first instinct is to race up and over that obstacle. Well, after the first dozen stories of the Big Pointy Building are cleared, it starts to slope inward and the jetpack zooms straight up the side of the edifice! Neat trick!

I used a similar tactic to get to the highest buildings in Los Santos. All I did was fly up as high as I could from a building and then just go forward to the next. It works great if you have a level 3 or higher wanted level and the minigun. Just go up high and pick of helicopters for a while.

Funny stuff - I did Brown Thunder missions (vigilante in the Hunter Helicopter) till about level 80 today, and as I was chasing cars through Las Venturas every now and again a police car would spawn on a roof top of a skyscraper and drive off, crashing to the city below...

Its easier just to get one at the Airfield.

Sometimes a leviathan spawns instead of a hunter, so just retake a test to get it again. Just score another gold on the take off or sometihng

You only have to do the ammunation challenge once you know, just the way you worded it makes me think that you think maybe you have to do it at every one.

Well... to first say, GTA3 was the first of it's kind. People weren't expecting it. After GTA3, we knew what to expect in GTA:VC and GTA:SA, generally. I'm not talking about the all the knew features, but the whole game and what it's all about. Second, the storyline was the greatest one out of SA and VC. It fit in perfectly with the game, and each part of the storyline fitted together pefectly. And the Mafia feel to the game gave it an extra kick in the game, not like in Vice City. Third, the city was so old school and badass. It was all dark and gloomy, the way a real crime-filled city would look like. Not like in Vice City. Fourth, the main character kicked ***. He was playing each of the boss's in the story and didn't take no **** from nobody. Not like that gay prick Tommy Vercetti whose like 80 or the pussy gangsta who let's everyone walk on him Carl Johnson. So that's what make GTA3 better then it's sequels, in my opinion.

Bogota is the capital of Columbia... that's another continent. The capital of South-Africa is Johannesburg if i'm not mistaking. And it would suck. It does have one of the highest crime rates in the world though.

I think that was just a name Rockstar registered awhile ago to throw people off their track. A lot of people thought this game was going to be called Sin City, and then R* goes ahead and registers a bunch of different game titles.

I take the pics with the ingame camera, save them to my memory card. Then I put my memory card data onto my computer using my sharkport. Then I open the data witht the ps2 save builder and extract the Gallery.dat file. Then I open the pics up with the GTA SA Gallery Viewer. Thats it.

But I can't get this one yellow territory above Glen Park; the Mexicans won't fight back! I find a gang of them and shoot them all, but a gang war fails to start! I don't know what to do; I've already spray-painted over most of their precious graffiti, and I've insulted their mothers numerous times. What's wrong with these guys?

Well, I finally managed to get them to start a war, and it was a pushover! I just ran up to the hillside and picked them off from a distance with my M4. Then I felt so good I decided to take over the Ballas territory by the beach, and then the one in San Fierro too! I took over all the gang territory!

Then I felt so confident that I went to try that last mission, and I beat it! I beat the main storyline, and the only thing that was holding me back was that stupid hillside territory! Dammit!

I just done the mission where Tenpenny sends you to that FBI meet...I nearly got blown up over No Fly Zone and then as the heli landed it was such a fluke I dived outta mine and landed on the edge of the helipad :lol: I got up and aimed my shotgun and killed the guy *wipes brow*** that was so not skill :p

I would probably still be on it now if luck wasnt on my side

You can also use the control stick, just very lightly in the direction you want to turn. This takes a couple minutes to get used to but after that it's easy.

I got tired of waiting for my gang buddies to wait up, and sometimes I had to drive around to look for Ballas, and my gang members wouldn't get in the car or sometimes fell out while it was moving. I decided I would take on the gangs by myself, even though I miss my human shields. :'(

Cruel story: After I had captured all the Ballas territory by the beach, I went to the rescue helicopter parked there and took one gang member with me to go capture San Fierro. On the way there, I stopped at the top of Mt. Chiliad to get some body armor, and my gang buddy stepped out as well. I decided I couldn't take him to SF because he was too antsy and wanted to stop for a bathroom break, so I shot him in the head and left him on top of the mountain. Oops!

Heres a quick tip...as soon as you start flying point left and start firing.youll hit the truck, keep shooting and youll get him, now hopefully you wont be too far from the bike dude so shoot him..then head on your map. You should see a van not to far from you( you go down a hill) go and get him. now check you map again and go get the closet one( which is usually the bike) hoping against hope you should have a fair amunt of gas left. Now go get the last one( but make sure it isnt too far oh you might not make it) get the truck and now head back. If youve mannaged to do it quick enough you should have enough petrol to safely get back. If you seem to run out of gas too quickly then dont hold onto X unless you are going up, you fly slowly without having to press X(which doesnt take too much gas)

What I did on the way back after killing them all was to fly up and then down, it seemed to go faster when you went downwards. Maybe it just seemed like it, but I beat it that way.

God that mission was hell. Once I got the hang of it (you really need to kill the first 3 carriers very quickly to have any chance: The van right in front of the start, the bike to left, and the van farther down towards the ocean) it only took me a few more tries.

I took a long time on that mission. I finally read some faq and it told me how I can save fuel by waiting for the two guys who get out of their vehicles to run after me to there where I blow up the 3rd Van nearby. Then I just got behind the other two people and gunned em down.

Going back a page... I think the difficulty of Supply Lines was more a mental thing. The mission really did involve a lot of luck, so if you screwed up, it got very frustrating. It took me a while to realize though that holding down X is much more efficient than gliding without pressing it.

That was the only one I really got stuck on trying to get gold. And sadly, the only satisfaction I got from completing it is knowing that I never had to do that again.

The jump and stoppie is easy. All you have to do is as soon as you start, press foward on the thumbstick so you go as fast as possible. Then all you gotta do is practice the landing a couple times so you stop in the correct spot, because if you go as fast as you can you'll land right near the cones so you can just skid into them.. don't worry about doing a stoppie.
