maan i came across my first pad-bashing moment just now (i had to breath deeply as i remember what happened to my psone pads when i got overwhelming feelings of hate as i die for the 100th time on tombraider), twas the mission in san fierro where that crazy jenifer-lopez-looking-hoe makes you steal the petrol tanker at a station and drive it to this guys house, the amount of times i had to go back and do it again because my load got detached or that friigin insanely annoying car shot me to smithereens, i learnt that if you just ram the car it will blow up pretty quick and youll be free to cautiosly make the journey
That mission is easy. You just don't make any sharp turns and you can even get out and shoot the guys chasing you.

Ok, someone told me about this earlier in this thread...

Go to the airport, since the fence is too high to climb over stand on top of a car and climb onto the security booth then climb over the fence.

After you get in find a plane and start flying, if you fly for long enough you'll get your pilots license and they'll open the gates for you. :)

It's on the first island, if you look on the map near the north west there is a slightly greener field than the other fields, it's around there. It isn't always there though, I've only seen it twice. :(

Ok, someone told me about this earlier in this thread...

Go to the airport, since the fence is too high to climb over stand on top of a car and climb onto the security booth then climb over the fence.

That only works at the Los Santos airport. If you get into the San Fierro one without a license all the planes are locked.

I've noticed that too. :confused:

The gates will still open for you although I couldn't get into any of the planes, I'm on the "officer" pilot level so perhaps you have to get a higher level then they'll become unlocked?

nope. just complete the piolt tests when you buy your airstrip.

the only way it works other than that is to get different medals.

all bronze: rustler.
all sliver: stunt plane.
all gold: hunter.

Itll be on the "box" by next summer.....but I heared that the reason Vice and 3 whent on the Xbox cause the deal between Sony and Rockstar finished and Sony wherent fast enough to sign a new one....so thats why gta3 and vice whent on the Xbox....so it will go on the xbox in about 4 years(thats when the new agrement ends)

Just to touch on how big this game is again; I've not been in Los Santos for a while because of doing the SF and LV missions, but I decided to go back to 'tha hood' for a while. When I got there, it actually felt good to be back home, just like coming back off a long holiday at Butlins!

This Flying School is pissing me off, I have Golds in everything except for Circle Airstrip and Land. I have 99% (121s, 100% position). You need to do it in 120 seconds to get Gold. If I go any faster, I screw up the landing. :mad: :mad: I want the damn Hunter so I can do the Vigilante missions.

Playing blackjack in the casinos for the first time without anything for your luck stat is a bad experience. Nothing like getting 20 three hands in a row only to be denied by the dealer hitting 21 each time. Then those other times when you have 12, hit, and get 10 more. I hope it isn't rigged so you win almost everytime if you do raise your luck stat an amazing amount.

Just beat all the missions in SF and you will understand

Well, there's a considerable amount of time where Pulaski runs to his car. So take out your gun and shoot a tire or two out. Worked for me, that mission was easy after that.

Nope, it's a hard misison, just tip his car over, he sucks at driving and hits stuff all the time, so try to flip him, his car is rocket proof, try and shoot his tires.

It's automatic, you can't wield anything but two guns once you reach Hitman level.

I hate Mike Toreno's stupid helicopter! I can't aim the rocket launcher good enough to hit it when it pauses out in the countryside, and the one time I DID blow up the helicopter, the blast forced me backwards off a cliff and I died. It was infuriating to me at the time, but I guess it's kind of funny.

And then I followed his helicopter as far as I could until it got to that farmhouse up on top of the hill. The screen said it was an ambush or something, but I couldn't find the place where the helicopter landed! And then I failed the mission because he got away somehow. Bastard. :evil:

Anyway, who else likes the fact that Zero is voiced by David Cross? That guy's funny in anything he's in, I think.

On the BIg SMoke mission just hit the guys driving the bikes to kill them quickly, and aim for the car and lorry tyres. Once you go over the truck aim forward to make sure you hit the grill then turn round to shoot the explosive barrels.

You work for Cesar in the beginning, you'll know when you can buy properties, not right out of the gate, you have to earn it for each one.

You'll undertstand, just keep playing and you'll know when you can buy them.

My game has no such problom... He has beaten the game, and I'm on the last mission, but we don't think that has anything to do with it...

Anyone else seen the sign near the golden gate bridge? It describes the bridge as though for tourists. I was most impressed by the 600 metre draw distance and the fact that the bridge takes up "a whopping 1.27Mb of disk space!".

I'd managed to get CJ really fat and low on muscle, then when I was redoing the Toreno missions I had to slim down for the jetpack mission. Danmit.

My CJ has max muscles and very little fat, cornrows, no tats and an all green suit from Didier Sachs with black/white shoes,a black hat, DS shades, DS watch and necklace. That outfit cost like 20,000 bucks :p but after doing the casino heist the DS store finally opened and i figured i could do with a new wardrobe. And with the green i keep representing.

I'm a bit stuck on the car export missions though... i can't find a Stafford anywhere and it's not on the map from a few pages ago. All i know is that it kinda looks like a Bentley.

Yea it really is. The level of customization with your character, cars, etc.., is really cool aswell as the missions.

I've done all of the available missions in Las Venturas, I'll go to the Casino and see how things are there, maybe the game just glitched and didn't put up a $ on my map. I also got a phone call after I got the keycard, but I was in the middle of getting in a car, so I picked up the call and then lost it immediately.

EDIT: So I went to the Casino, and there were no missions or anything available to do there.

EDIT: I realized I still have to do the Airstrip missions. :upset:

You haven't finished those if you're still asking. Toreno eventually sends you to buy an airstrip. Up the top of the Air Control tower, you will find the pilot school.

I can't find the last car for the import/export thingie... it's called a Mesa and it's not on the car map. I know it looks like a Jeep Wrangler and i've seen one before but that was ages ago.

I saw one yesterday as i was riding from Angel Pine to Los Santos along the South coastline. There was a monster truck between a couple of trailers not too far before i entered the tunnels which lead into Vinewood, LS... so just outside the city, southwest i suppose.

If you get first place in the Los Santos arena (8-track), the stock car racer and monster truck will always spawn outside of the arena in the parking lot. It's pretty easy to get first place too, just get ahead in the first lap and drive carefully after that. You have to have your driving skill at a certain point to be able to access it though. (20% I think)

Go swimming and dive underwater staying there until it shows your lung capacity go up (usually just mbefore your breath runs out) then surface. Get your breath back and repeat.

There is one in the Las Ventraus airport.

Its in the huge hanger at the end of the runway to (i think) the east. Carefull backing it out of the hanger though.

Beat the Caeser mission at your garage.. I forget what it's called but it's the first one after you buy Wang Auto's. I'm driving around in a pimped out Jester right now.. it's kickass.

Well, you can always just go into a diner, and beat everyone to death. You usually will not get any stars. And you can of course kill the drug dealers.

I like to keep one pimped out ride in my garage for some cruisin'. Driveby shootings then blast away with my nitro. :cool:

The helicopter crash is part of the mission as far as I know.

Just make sure your first 4 or so kills are stealth kills so you can collect the guys' weapons unharmed. From there, let guns blaze and be strategic about using health/armor.
