They seem to make the game with a certain ganster element. In Vice city it was Tommy who was some Italian guy. Now it's CJ whos an african american gangster. Maybe it will be set in Russia next and you'll be some Russian guy.

This happened to a lot of people, look up in the corners of San Fierro I'd say, there should be a "tan" color or somthing like that, somewhere in San Fierro or LV

I'm not completely sure though

You would have Chicago, a bunch of gangs there, and for a mission you should run an airplane into the sears tower and destroy **cough ramsey cough**

Then go to Detroit with worse gangs than Chicago (not kidding) and buy a bunch of Car Factories and make bombs or somthing

Then have a canadien city so you could like, border hop and swim across the lake and stuff.

Well when you start a gang war, the enemy will come in 3 waves. So you simple waste em to gain territory.

And for the second part, the more respect you get, you can recruit and control more of your gang members.

You can only start gang wars after a mission where you have to take over Glen Park, after that the map is full of colored area's. You can start a gang war by going into a colored area (one that isn't green obviously) and shooting at least three members of the gang that run that area.
You can recruit gang members by aiming at guys in green and pressing UP on the directional pad.

To recruit gang members you have to have a certain level of respect. Then just walk up to someone in your gang, and push up on the D-Pad(I think it's up, it may also be right, I'm not sure). To start a gang war get out of your car in territory that belongs to another gang, and kill a small group of them while on foot. After you kill a couple of them, it should say that you have started a gang war.

The map is really getting to me. the one in the corner as your radar.

I honestly have a VERY hard time figuring out what's supposed to be the yellow dots that indicate where you're supposed to go. they blend in with the map and the many other pointless marks that are on it. This makes the game almost unplayable at some times and frustrates me to no end.

Incidentley, (dunno if this has been discussed already, probably has) what's everyones views on the soundtrack? I think I much prefered Vice City's. Majority of the songs on it were good. San Andreas has quite a few week ones though, that don't really fit with the game.

You drive this ****ty mini red plane and have to kill all of the couriers. The hard part is doing it before you run out of gas. By the time you kill the first couple, the other guys are so far away you waste half a tank to just reach them.

That mission was an absolute prick. I finally managed it by killing the 3 closest to you from the start, then just waiting in the road for the other 2 to get closer to me, and then wasting them.

I finished that mission with a quarter tank of gas left.

The red baron has an incredibly long firing range, and I think it will only shoot at the targets for the mission anyway. As you leave the building take out the bike on your left first. If you line it up nicely, you should take a maximum of two runs at him. When he's dead, and if you've come off a second run, turn left and take out the van... you'll be on a long road so just hold fire and keep the plane aimed at the van...

the trick with the plane (as with all planes) is to be really gentle with the controls, line yourself up low and to the back of the target, and take an extra few seconds in the city to get clear of buildings before turning around. Each target requires no more than two runs, leaving you with plenty of gas to get back to base.

I seriously tried 45-50 tiems to get it, everytime, I would run out of gas right before I landed on the roof and I almost broke 2 lamps, my controller and a pool table because of it

The trick to the RC Baron mission:
- get accustomed to the quirky controls
- plan your route out carefully
At the beginning, to your left i believe, there are two couriers starting off pretty close to eachother (just one block) but they're moving in different directions. The sooner you get those, the better, that saves you a lot of fuel.

K Rose and K Jah West are the best music stations. Radio Los Santos is quite good as well.

I'm on Zero's RC missions, but my FAVORITE had to be "body harvest" I've never had so much fun. Running over people in a harvester and watching the gore shoot out the back was probably the best part of the game so far. Well that and when you cement the guy in the portopotty.:lol:

I just completed Denise and got the Hustler car and the pimp suit. I recommend you all go to that park where you and sweet first started a gang war.. in one of the flower beds is a bundle of flowers.

Next time you pick up Denise give her the flowers by having them in your hand and pressing and holding L1. Then press and hold L1 again when it asks if you want to kiss her.

At the airport. Dude get a car and find the enterence to the air port the fence itself is to high up to climb over it so climb on top of the car and climb onto the security booth. And jump in. There is a dodo and a leerjet kind of thing further down the runway.

Wrong, the country is MUCH cooler than the city. Maybe it's because I was raised in a more rural setting, or maybe it's such a radical change from the other GTAs, but I think the rural setting is much more fun. You can escape the police and ride through the lushly-coded terrain like nobody's business!

Just make sure to listen to sweet. He'll tell you to look out back, forward or to look left... do so and shoot.

Also watch out when the two cops jump on your car...

As long as you do this, and aim at peoples heads, not vehicles, you'll be fine. And to kill the motorbike cops really quick, shoot the driver in the head.

Yeah, just keep doing missions and they'll start opening up all over. The one you open in SF is killer, it mods to street racing cars, and alternate paint jobs. Look for a red icon, the first one isnt too far from CJ's grove street.

Also, make sure you are just marginally ahead of the train. Smoke seems to gain more accuracy this way. There are also areas where you can minimally target them and take a bit of their health off, but this is risky unless you are a great driver

i thought plane crashes were supposed to be a rare occurance but last night when climbing chilli-nads (get it ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL OMG) for the first time they were dropping like flys, there were planes going down everywhere, well thats exagerrating but i saw about 3 planes crash on the way up. i also enjoyed very much going off the ramp at the peak of chill-nads with a mountain bike and no parachute, does wonders for the crazy stunt points.

On Wrong Side of the tracks stay right pn the right of the tracks as he shoots into the train less. It's also possible if you get ahead of the train to jump onto it from the dirt track and forward drive-by (with L1) them yourself. This is very tricky though.

maan i came across my first pad-bashing moment just now (i had to breath deeply as i remember what happened to my psone pads when i got overwhelming feelings of hate as i die for the 100th time on tombraider), twas the mission in san fierro where that crazy jenifer-lopez-looking-hoe makes you steal the petrol tanker at a station and drive it to this guys house, the amount of times i had to go back and do it again because my load got detached or that friigin insanely annoying car shot me to smithereens, i learnt that if you just ram the car it will blow up pretty quick and youll be free to cautiosly make the journey
