In never bothered to do any of the girlfriend stuff on my game though, I think I killed my first girlfriend with a rocket launcher.

The 2-player function is cool, especially if you use cheats. :p

that would be correct, although there is a cheat to make you fat instantly, if you're the cheating type.

I don't think its that easy, I mean, if ya eat too much, h'ell just start throwing up.

Its really a combo of A LOT of the fat food (no salad meals), no working out, and absolutely no running och bicycling whatsoever. The more you drive, the better :thumb;

You need to wait until you get further in the game I think.

It appears at your airfield on the third island when you reach that point.

I'm not talking about the shops in the game that modify your car, I'm talking about vehicle modifications that changes how it looks/handles in data files, i.e. make them look like real life cars.

They only sell it in certain stores, none of the big ones (EB Games, Future Shop, Best Buy etc.), because of the Adult rating.

I have no idea why they felt the need to do this for the XBOX and Ps2 versions as well, as the Hot Coffee mod isn't valid.

The Target and Wal Mart have new copies of San Andreas that are just rated M. They all say "second version" at the bottom. The point is that retail stores carry the fixed M version while specialty stores carry the AO version.

in 2 days, i pretty much opened the entire map, beaten all the school, and am almost finished the mafia missions...

You need to throw satchels at at least one of the SAMs and detonate it/'em. Then fly out over the blown SAM. In the clear :thumb:

yeah, it's just my weopons totally suck, and the ammu-nation isn't open yet, so i'm f'ed. besides that crappy black guy, and getting guns in mission, are there any other places to get weopons this early in the game. currently, i'm on the black cops first mission.

besides getting in cop cars to get a shot gun, you have to find them laying randomly around the city

There should be a sawn-off shotgun in the film studio (Yes, there is one in Los Santos)

i just stood out side the gate, shot the guy in the army vehicle as soon as he was out, and drove back in again... killed everyone and worked my way up

totally sucks

It's not cheating to use a jetpack; it's available at your airstrip by that point in the game. I just fly over to the big silos at the edge of the helicopter's area and snipe most of the army guys dead. It's fun.

i actually beat the **** out of the mission last night. First try, i killed all the dudes, blew up the helis with the mini gun, picked up the armored van, but crashed the dam helicopter at my air strip...

It should be right next to your house on the airstrip. You have to steal it on the mission first I think.

You can change the camera view easily with the PS2 version of the game, I would assume it's the same for the PC version. Try going into options and looking at the game controls?

Yeah, but do you not just move the mouse around so that the camera is in the right position again?

That would give you more control and allow you to see things coming easier.

I don't own the game for the PC, unless anyone here knows how to lock the camera like in Vice City, your best bet would be to make an account and have a look around here - http://www.gta-sanandreas.com/forums/index.php?showforum=47

I know how to fix this. It's a difficult process though, so read carefully:

Buy the game for PS2 and play it the way it's meant to be played. PC versions of games like that always suck. It's a PS2 title because it works best when played on the PS2.

i thought the game itself was better, you had more to do and larger areas to explore but storyline wise VC was way better.

Actually, how's this for a new idea. I'm thinking a GTA crossed with a World of Warcraft. Or at least, a multiplayer/community online game. Form gangs, create characters, kill, rape, murder, or the usual stuff.

Vice City was good but it had this weird happy feeling to it, and tried too hard be Scarface.

GTA 3 had a grim New York feeling to it but the graphics weren't great.

I personally think San Andreas is brilliant, when you first start playing it, you really feel like you're in early 90s LA.
And aircraft. I could just skydive in a gimp suit all day.

Anyone had this before? I think it may be a problem with my DVD drive, but I'm not sure.

Yes. last time I played it I could only go 30 minutes before getting bored.

I never bothered to complete everything, only the story missions and a few other bits and bobs, I still play it now and again when I feel like driving around like an idiot or slaughtering some people.

Yeh, 100%. I had some help though (if you know what I mean). They should improve the lastability of the next game; I don't know how though.

All this discussion makes me want to play it really bad. Anyone have any suggestions? I email San Andreas tech support, but they haven't given me an answer yet.

Uh...can I bump this?

I finally got around to downloading it - my XBox game won't let me play any further than Madd Dogg's rhymes, because its shi and first gen DVD drive, so I figure I'm fully within my rights to download it for PC. But a few things struck me.

1) URGH, cameras when in vehicles. Be like VC, pleaseeeee.
2) The missions seem a bit harder =/ OG Loc is impossible because you can't bloody steer the bike :(
3) Mmmmmm, its so bootifull on PC, even with graphics set to low and anti-aliasing to maybe 1 or 2 and 1024x768, its a lot lot lot nicer than it is on TV. Maybe because I was playing it through a 14" TV? I dunno.

I've completed all the main storyline missions, now I just play it every now and again so that eventually I'll get it to 100% completion. Good game :)

i have it on pc and have been stuck on one mission for a year. its the mission where you have to go to the beach party and get the sound system/van for og loc or whatever hes called. i dont know wether my game needs patching or something. i answer both questions the dj asks, and nothing happens.

I can't do the lowrider mission on PC.

Saying that, I couldn't do it for ages on XBox then finally managed it the other day.

This camera thing is a real pain in the arse, are there any hacks to make it like VC?

Finished SA twice. Firstly, my brother didn't back up it when he put these cheat things on so we lost the saves, secondly somehow the saves went again. Did everything as well! :(

They're the sort of game, for me, you never really go on again... mm.. Maybe just to mess around.

team racket there are some forums i found where you can post your savegame have someone finish one level for you and give it back. or there are a list of all the saved games after missions. but i cant find that now. so you could post it here and i or someone do that one mission for you. you will get a reply faster too.

okay, so i've finished all the story line mission on GTA SA. now all i have to do is the sub missions to get 100% game completion. so, i'm doing all the exports, i'm up to the 3rd set, and i only have the Mesa left. can't find it ANYWHERE. does anyone know where i can find one?

i liked vice city more than this. i think it's cause that seemed fresher to me and this one was good but because that was there first and the free world roaming was new and exciting but this one was bigger and awesome, but otherwise it pales in comparison in ingenuity. i beat both of them though to 100% so i know.

tomtom if you have a little search online for san andreas car locations, there should be a few pages which go through where the cars are most likely to be seen, or spawned.
