hells no, that was almost too easy to answer. But it probably is the best way...i had half respect going into the last missions, and after taking over territory to get end of the line i was at full (but i only got about 5 territories.)

Kill drug dealers that are hanging about (they wear black I think)
Take over lots of territory (if your that far through the game)
Experiment with different clothing (some are worth more respect)
DO MISSIONS
You might get some for getting all collectables but I dont know, im pretty sure spraying tags gets you respect

You don't need them what so ever for 100% completion or anything really, but if you want another one go to the driving school (might be bike school) and walk over to the girl with the blue arrow over her head.

I anyone using the Braady Games official guide to get tags, oysters, horseshoes etc. I am and its ****. Especially for the horseshoes, it just seems to make some up, and the position of others totally wrong. If you don't have it and are thinking of buying it, don't.

Phew, just completed paramedic missions to level 12, took me a few goes, i kept ketting to like level 8 or 9 and then accidently running a patient over and killing them, im now almost 78% complete, whats everyone elses current completion %?

Yeah, need lvl 10 or 12 in all car missions to unlock that missions bonus (like nitro in all taxis) and get more percentage.

Now, im sure some of you have done this, but i just discovered it.....you know arco del oeste? the big jump in the desert that goes over some water?
well, i was going to jump off in a quad and parachute, so i spawned a vortex (fanboat) to move quicker to the jump location. When i was there, i accidentally fell off of the cliff and landed in the water, when i got the idea of..

"wow, i should jump off in a vortex and just land in the water and drive away. like james bond n ****."

So, i got to the jump and spawned a vortex. I got speed, jumped, and leveled off. Then i **** my pants.....I was flying. This is definately unintended by the designers, but try it on the highest building in los santos and youll have a blast. :thumb:

My sister gets pissed when shes playing and a ped says something mean, then she presses left and some lame comeback is said. And firetruck missions suck my ***...their not very fun.

But that flying vortex is awesome, especially since any jump or ledge lets you do it (so long as its high enough.)

Beotch! I did Supply Lines today. I did my own strategy where I saved the motorbike till last. This was better, as the van is higher up, so I didn't have to go back and fourth. Also, if you leave the motorbike until last, he will most likely ride right near Zero's store. Pretty handy for the landing

And New Model Army was pretty fun :D

And I found out you can blow up cars when you shoot the petrol cap thingy. Which was pretty cool as well.

How is the map in this game? Like when you go from countrytown to downtown, is there any loading in between or do you just keep on going until you get there? Also how big is the total map compared to vice city one?

It dosnt load when you exit the town to the city, ive been able to drive all the way around Los Santos and San Fierera, or what ever there called with it loading.

And the maps pretty darn big, i cant compare it to Vice city though, ive not played it.

Surprisingly there is no loading time between islands, which really helps the mood of chases and stuff in my opinion. It's a shame when you are in a 5 star high speed chase, and then BAM! "Welcome to blah blah blah island".

The map is nicely played out. There is a lot more countryside and open area than city area (or at least it will feel like that), but it's well put together. I'm only on the second island at the moment, but the game feels huge when I play it. Plus the fact that you can swim really helps a lot in this game.

If you went to angel pines or whatever the place you start off when you get dropped off by tenpenny and his goons them paramedic mission are piss easy. No joke. :thumb:

It's so typical isn't it? I'm in a 5 star police chase, my car blows up so I get out. I aim at an oncoming motorbike with my SMG and fire, and the mother trucker blows up on the first shot! Then I kinda died, which wasn't so fun

Yeah, it aint half bad for a playstation fps. The movement rate sucks arse, you don't so much run as waddle quickly. Also the reload function sems interminably long, especially in the middle of a frantic firefight.

The enemy AI is fairly good, they do make an effort to operate as a team, although they don't go so far as to grenade your position which would have been much cooler. Also, their aim is sensational, and depending on which of the four characters you've chosen to play as, you may find yourself dying awfully quickly if you don't grasp the whole 'R3 for ranged fire' gimmick.

Graphics are fairly sexy for the ps2, the environments are solid and believable. The reviews I've read have all said that it manages to disguise the fact that the whole story is linear and your movements channeled by the fact that it doesn't look like a straight line.. wtf? It's very much an A to B type of game, but as far as shooters go, it's pretty danmed good for the ps2.

I also got call of duty:finest hour which suffers the same extremely annoying treacle-like movement. It too has its good points.. but anyway.

Im pretty sure once you have all the territories, nobody will attack anymore. Unless you encountered the glitch with the shamal flying around the edge of the map, in which case new territory spawns all over the place.

I beat the story missions a while ago.

I don't play as much as I used to.

Anyone get bored of dressing to impress? I gave up my old look (which gave me over halfway full sex appeal, no cars) and started to mess around with clothes, I'll get a few examples.

it's funny taking all CJs clothes off (bar underpants and black shades), then running round causing havoc.

I had fun last night making naked CJ cause chaos on the train tracks by putting loads of cars and big rigs on the tracks and waiting for trains to come. It's so tense because when you're standing on the tracks you can actually slightly hear the trains, even though they're nowhere near you. And then they come out of nowhere and BOOM. Too bad that doesn't derail them though.

In the mission in Las Venturas where you have to catch Madd Dogg, he dies and then your games ****ed (or something like that) It only applies to spawning coeds i think though, weapons health are ok. www.gtaguides.com tells it better than me.

Heh, no one has proved that cheating affects the game. People just assume it does because they get annoying glitches and they blame it on the cheats. For every ps2 Gta game, people have said that if you cheat, you can't get 100%, yet I have gotten 100% on all Gta games and have cheated tons of times.

We've been over this before. It's possible to beat, but not easy. I beat it, but it was pure luck that the last two guys were closer together than usual.

Also, Cypress Hill's "How Could I Just Kill A Man" is in the running with "Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang" and "It Was A Good Day" for my favorite song off of Radio Los Santos. :)

I beat the game (story missions) before I came back to finish Zero's missions.

No one ever helped me on a mission, further than brief instructions.

Don't ask someone to beat it for you.

If you can't beat a certain mission, keep trying, if you can't beat it on yourself, you aren't good enough to go to the next one. Every time I beat a hard mission, after oh so many tries, I am much better at what that mission required.

But as far as supply lines goes, I beat it on my 7th or 8th try. This was after I had 100% flying skill and an Ace pilot ranking. I just killed the couriers that were closest to me. If you don't kill each one of them quickly, you should just start over. Even if it takes you a while to kill the first one, start over. You would be wasting your time if you continued.

Kill first guy almost immediately after mission starts, loss of fuel should not be noticeable.

Kill guy after that within 30-60 seconds (rough estimate)

Kill the other guys as fast as you can (don't know a good estimate of how long it would take), but you should try to aim for 1/4 fuel left as you head back from last guy. It seems like the fuel drains faster as you near empty.

This one has been proven, it said in some magazine aswell, that they tested it and he only dies on games with cheats saved on them. And weapon health etc don't count.

Devils_Night: Like I said, I have cheated many times in SA and never had any problems with that mission, or any other mission. I've done the missions twice too, both times I used cheats and never had problems.

I'm not trying to cause any problems here, just saying that cheating doesn't screw the game up.

ive just recently beat the game, and used no cheats, and i got the girlfriend out in Bone County, and in order to go out with her i had to become fat, but after shes my girlfriend i keep my wepons after being busted, but any ways know i am really fat, and now when ever i try working out to lose the fat it says i reached my limit and have to wait to tomorrow to work out, but the problem is i have not worked out in over at least 10 days, has this happened to any one else and does any one know how to fix it. :confused:

i argee this mission this impossible, i thought i completed it but then you have to drive the plane back to zeros place, i truely think rockstar made this mission impossible, just to pissed poeple off so they will buy the guide for the game, just like the random pictures you have to take, and the lack of story starting off because of the 20 min dvd you can get with the sound track for a huge price... NAZIS :evil:

I know what your problem is.

You obviously got very fat, very fast.

The game recognizes your massive physical change, even if its gaining weight, and is programmed to think you spent too much time at the gym.

Just save a whole bunch (time passes 6 hours each save)

The same thing happened to me, except it was me starving my self, and losing half my muscle. (I got bored of the pumped up look)

I just saved a lot, and soon I was allowed to go back to the gym.

It's a pain in the arse but it's do-able. What you do is take out the two close by first i.e. the van and the first cyclist. Then you carry on to the next van in this area. When you have done this fly to the furthest away van and then come back to downtown to get the motorcyclists and pillion. When you have done that you should have enough fuel to cover the last bit home. You can't mess up on any of the kills tho.
Next zero mission is one where you have a magnet on the bottom of an RC copter and you have to move barrels out of the way of an RC car and drop bombs on little tanks etc.

Anyway, I'm on the mission where you gotta get Millie to like you when you go on dates with her. It's the most frustrating thing in the world.

I don't know if this affects it, but at the start she wouldn't go out with him. It took forever for me to realize that his muscle needed to go up so he had a good figure. Now everytime we go out, the bar hardly goes up at all. And I go there and she's never there, and then the bar goes down! How the hell am I supposed to get her to like CJ when I can't even go on a date with her!

Im lucky: I didnt beat driving school, or any schools for that matter, and didnt buy zeros, so i still have things to do after im done.

And SA's story jumped too much. It was all interesting until venturas, then it felt like a different game. I almost forgot about the street feel until i got bac to los santos, and CJ says hes done everything for grove street, and sweet tells him all he did was for himself. Then the story felt more interesting seeing that i didnt recognize i wasnt doing much for grove until he told me.

And i started the game over.

Also, the rewards for 100 percent are weak compared to vice. In vice, you got 3 gangsters to recruit (like you can in this game in an easy way), weapons / money, and you got the awxome shirt that said "i beat vice city and all i got was this lousy shirt". :thumb:

First of all, get a lot of good weapons, AK47's/M4's and SMG's are the best.

And look for health/armor pickups, they should appear somewhere in the territory after each wave, usually in the middle of the road somewhere.

But perhaps the most important aspect is keeping your distance. Look very carefully on the minimap where a new wave is spawning, because if you get surrounded then you're dead. Keep a distance and take them out as they chase you.

I still play it occasionaly, mostly to fly around 5ft from the ground full speed in the Hydra.

A game you could try:- put a marker over a swimming pool that you can swim in then fly as high above it as you can in an aircraft then jump out, do not deploy your parachute, and try and dive into the pool.

Definitely 70's for me. I think in the next game there should be a couple characters you can choose to play the game as(unless the plot makes it so that you can really only be one character, like in SA, since the game is largely about the hood and family). However in a game like VC there could be multiple characters that the player could choose from.

I made a thread a few minutes ago in a gta forum i go on about bracnhing storylines. Still have 1 character, but have it so instead of having to do jobs for a character to move the story, you could decline and keep working for whatever gang you have now.

But still, a modern setting of liberty wouldnt be "just like" GTAIII. All the new features of san an would have to be in it. Also, you can see how the living characters (pretty much just the mafia lived / remained in LC) were affected by salvatores death. I was also thinking of a storyline involving a huge takedown of all the people in the mafia by the police. So, basically, to spice things up...the mafia would be cornered.

On my second game through I beat Supply Lines on like my second try. It's really easy the second time around.

But did anybody else do this.....after beating the game, go bet almost all of your money on one bet at the horse betting place, but only on a crappy horse. After losing, play the game as a normal person. Do taxi missions, vigilante, paramedic, gambling, killing/rbbing civilians....any way to make money. But whatever you do, DONT use cheats.

I guess it just takes practice, stay as close as you can to the side, and to get a few guys on top, get in front of the train early on when it isn't going as fast

I thought the game really improved all of the movie sequences. As oppose to the other games which were pretty much random set ups for the missions. But in SA the dialogue actualy wasn't outdated, and the action sequences were nut busting. Especialy in the mission where you have to flee the Russians.

Well, you have to keep a limited distance from you and the train. Of course, it isn't a bad policy, if you are good with the bike, to speed up and blow the crap out of the Vargos. This mission took me about 7 tries in total. Develop a good anticipation and feel for the motorbike. You will have to make quick decisions; otherwise you will be smashed into **** by uncoming trains or stupid drivers. Hence, the mission will end quickly. So, I suggest you steal a cop bike, one of the most best handled bikes in the game, and go to the highway (at the bottom of Los Santos) leading to Red County, et al, and dodge other vehicles to develop better skills.

God, why do I even comment on video games? I should be playing guitar or working on my car. Oh well. I guess I have a knack for useless information.

Thats true, the only reason it worked for me was because my Motorcycle skill was 100% because i kept failing that mission so i would have to drive back and fourth :lol:

The easiest way i found for that mission was to get on the bridge not far from the beggining, then when the train comes into view (on the rigtht) blow them up with a rocket launcher. Of course you need to cheat first, but thats no problem

To be fair, with a game so wide and varied as GTA, you don't think about the story as much

You are correct, San Andreas was a good game, but as I said, it was too repetitive.

I can't beat the 1st flying mission were you have to circle and land,and it is pissing me off because the circle is to high in the air and the landing strip is to **** far to the left to even land and last,the airplane has crappy sensative controllers,soon as you touch any button the plane goes totaly of course.Why couldn't they have given you a different plan like the dodo or the one were you transport island to island from,at least those planes have good controlls.
