Legacy of Kain

Who plays this series? I've only played Soul Reaver 1 & 2, got LOK:Defiance today. They're some of the most enjoyable games I've played, and I love the storyline. Raziel is a really good anti-hero, Kain is an awesome villain and great fun to play as in Defiance.
Can anyone tell me if the Blood Omen games compare and are worth buying?

Soul reaver games are awsome the puzzles get easier throught the series though.

i played the original soul reaver on ps, amazing game.

i have a demo of blood omen on my computer, it is a top down slasher (think diablo). I really enjoyed it despite repetitiveness and wanted to get the full game, might download it.

I've got the original Soul Reaver on my PC. Hard game, love the puzzles. I've never actually played any besides the original.

The enemies get way harder though... did you find that? I played soul reaver once through before I started Soul Reaver 2, then I got to the past on soul reaver 2 and the demons kicked my ***.

I've got Blood Omen 2, it's the only one of the series I've got so I understand nothing of the storyline but it's great fun going round killing people and sucking their blood. I find it just the right difficulty as well.

yeah. its a shame they haven't been able to balance the puzzles and the monsters cause the monsters are piss on the first one.
