Pittsburgh played a hell of a game last sunday. First game I've seen all season (band practice). Roethlisburger is the man! I really didn't think they'd beat New England but they pulled it off well.

Pittsburgh.
They beat the Pats, and they can beat the Eagles if they don't screw it up.

Voting for the Steelers. They beat us last week, everyone saw how good they are. That and T.O. annoys the HELL out of me. Just shut up and play.

Philadelphia is really hurting without Westbrook in there, and the Steelers should dominate the clock with a big dose of Staley and some hard-hitting defense. Expect Big Ben to have yet another amazing game.

Can someone tell me who exactly the Steelers have beat this year besides a VERY banged up Pats. McNabb throws for 3, 2 to T.O., and the Eagles D brings Big Ben back to reality.

Every single team since Big Ben has started has said they would bring him back to a rookie level. It just has not happened, and it will not happen. He has the best trio of receivers in the game, a hot running back in Duce and a dominating Offensive Line to help him. He has the poise of a 10 year vet, and he rarely makes stupid mistakes. If he was going to crumble, he would have done it by now.
I thought the Patriots were so good at filling in hurt players with others while maintaining a great team. Well the one time they lose, that strength is quickly turned into an excuse. The Steelers also have their fair share of injuries as well. Their starting CB, All-Pro NT, Pro Bowl LB, Nickle and Dime Safety, starting LG, and of course their starting QB (although Roethlisberger is proving to be quite an upgrade) are all out. Every team has their injuries and it's how they overcome them that determines how great of a team they are. The Steelers were superior in their match-up with the Pats, and if beating a team that's won 21 straight games doesn't count as "beating someone" then I don't know what does.

Being a 49er fan, and also having been a TO fan, I'm rooting for the Eagles. TO was all the Niners had for a while, I had to like him.
Roethlisberger was a favorite college QB of mine though, he played a couple hours away from my hometown. So I'm kind of rooting for Pittsburgh..
I think Philly will win. They're such a good team.

Owens was never all the 49ers had. Every season he played on the 49ers they had a very talented group of players. Is he Good? Yes. Great? No.
I like the Steelers' chances in this game. Will be fun to watch two of the best teams in the league go at it yet again.

For a while = one season, I should've been more clear.
In his last season, they were bad. He's the only Niner that stands out in my mind during his last season. I never said he was great, I just like him. He's good.

I'm biased...my family grew up near Pittsburgh, and they are all such rabid Steelers fans...
GO STEELERS!
Hines is gonna rip Philly a new one!

You know what pisses me off is that Staley runs the ball all the way down they field, and then they give it to Bettis for the 1 yd TD run. Staley can do that. Bettis has like 10 TD's and his longest one is for like 2 YD's.

i live right outside of philly and i've been an eagles fan since i can remember. the steelers really haven;t beaten any ody of the eagles caliber other then the patriots, who sooner or later had to lose. i think the eagles will beat the steelers, as long as they stay tight on defense and don;t allow rothlesberger to just bomb it down the field like he did with the pats.

I'm a Ravens fan and I desperately want Phi. to win (even though I'd like to see T.O. hanged), because if the Steelers lose, the Ravens are only one game back.

First off, Owens IS great. If you don't think so you're in denial. I don't like him either, but that's a stupid reason for saying he sucks (and as he said, he celebrates after touchdowns...Ray Lewis celebrates after every tackle. Yet he's a bad guy and Lewis is a great guy. Doesn't make any sense).
Second off, who's to say this won't be a Letdown Game for Pittsburgh?
Third off, Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown are much better than Asante Samuel and Randall Gay. Don't expect the Steelers to get lucky with two quick TD passes to Burress like they did against New England.

Well, the Steelers had 27 points all right! But how many did Philly have again? How many?! Three.
Now I know what George Bush supporters find so comforting about bragging. It's a 50-50 chance from just picking names blindly, and the team I happen to support ended up winning. I am better than you, and you are a homosexual for supporting the team which did not win!

Seriously, now I think the Steelers take the Super Bowl this year.
They kicked the **** out of BOTH predicted contenders, New England and Philly.
