This was a Don's Daily Dumb Poll awhile ago :p But personnally, I'll have to go with Mario 64. No other game has ever procured me with a tenth of the pleasure and enjoyment that game did. It has marked my life.

I beat mario three a few days after I got it on snes, I remember it was great fun. Some of the most fun I've had playing a game like that.

mario 3s boss was dodgy. probably world, does yoshi's island count? that had some trippy stuff going on there i loved it

SM64 was my favourite. Sunshine was good as well but it wasn't in the same league. 6 Golden Coins was my favourite 2D Mario.
