I think this is one of the best rpg. If you guys never heard of it, it's a old game in SNES. Geno was the best Character. Discuss.

My favorite character was Bowser, he made me laugh the most, especially with that one weapon where he would pick up Mario and toss him at the enemy:lol:... Good times...

Ahh, the memories. I probably beat that game more than 5 times.

I still think Chrono Trigger is better in every way

the jumping was really cool - it was one of the best parts of the game because it was quite challenging just to get to the otherside on the map (especially using the keyboard).

but chrono trigger was much better though - you can't get better than a frog that uses a sword! and robots

I beat the game, was fairly easy as I remember... very good though. I didn't beat that extra boss though, that said he was crossing dimensions from a different game or something.

See you auntie!

Meh, I didn't like the game. After a while, I had to force myself to play it, and when I reached the final boss I just couldn't be bothered to kill him. The different parts of the world didn't really seem like they were connected, the blue background stunk and the music during fights got on my nerves.

I think Chrono Trigger and Earthbound are much, much better.

The Axem Rangers are not hard if you're at about level 20 or so. In fact, they are pushovers at that level.

Honestly, though, 17 EXP points for fighting them? Come on, there are non-bosses that give way more than that. I don't understand the rationale of making you fight, essentially, 5 bosses at once, and only giving you 17 EXP for them. I feel completely ripped off every time I beat them.

Now Culex, there's a hard boss fight.

I had to use the star egg to kill Culex.

The Final Fantasy IV boss music plays during Culex, as I recall, and this being my first RPG, years later when I finally played FF4 I heard the boss music and said, 'What? This is from Mario RPG!'

The Star Egg is weak, why would you use that? I mean, if your normal attacks weren't doing 100+ damage...why would you even fight him in the first place?

I used it when he had his lackies with him.

I love this game. The only problem I have with it is that you can only get your characters up to level 30.

I still haven't figured out how to get over 30 jumps in a row using Mario's superjump either.
