I like Starbucks Mocha Frappacinos (bottled, not the slurpee ones) and Doubleshot Espressos, but other than that I don't really like coffee much. Caffeine generally makes me feel like crap.

Having such a tight community thread can be offputting towards people who just want to come in and discuss Final Fantasy. If this thread was titled "Video Games Community Thread" then fine, but this is a Final Fantasy thread. So try to keep it on the topic of Final Fantasy.

If you people want this to be more of a community thread then I'm sure we can arrange for the title to be changed to something like "Final Fantasy freaks Community Thread" or "Video Games and Movies Community Thread".

any dragonquest is worth getting - the series just keeps getting better. roms for the NES ones can be found on the internet, and they are definately worth downloading (DQ 2 is VERY hard, though).

also, if you find a translated DQ 6 for the SNES, GET IT. its one of the best RPGs ever (again, it's hard).

Koichi Sugiyama, the composer of the DQ music, is awesome. as good as Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo IMO.

enter the battle with all your charcters with full-overdrive bars. first, grand summon your best aeon with yuna. once the aeon dies, just use your other characters' overdrives. that might work.

So, its just taken me about 1.5 hours to do 1 design for my Art coursework.

I spent most of the time thinking of the idea for the design, its a Dragonhead (which I drew 2 years ago) breathing fire, with the words Welcome to Dragontown written over the flames.

I'm doing Graffiti at the moment, and figured that the message/lettering/imaging etc...that I'm going to use will be influenced by some of my fave. bands.

If I had a camera I'd take a picture of it for y'all to see.

thats the boss you fight in the ship with the fire crystal, right? he pwned me all the time... i just levelled up a lot, used blizara (or blizzard 2, i dont know what the english one says) and shiva, and i managed to beat it.

you can always change the jobs of your party to 2 monks and 2 white mages, and beat the crap out of it with your monks and heal with your mages. it usually works.

of course tactic's system is much better. Tactics job system is much more complex. I really like the simplicity of V's job system.

I'm not a big fan of Paganini, to be honest. I find his music to be incredibly simplistic, and just blazingly fast. That being said, I have a ton of respect for anyone who can play it. Good job MAthiAS! :thumb:

Hmm, the thing I like about FFIX is that it might look childish, but the story isnt..somehow 8's story felt out of place or ehm, "unrealistic", hehe. As far as that goes...and the only character I cared for in 8 was Zell :\

Is zsnes ever updated? I've had the same version for the longest time. Same with epsxe. Although now that I have a ps2, epsxe isn't really that necessary.

The games all have very seperate stories, but usualy with a similar theme.
There are 12 main games (including 10-2) and FF12 will be out sometime.

Nope, there's only one sequal which is X-2. I found it rather crap.

There are many. 12 have been major releases on large comsoles, but they also have several smaller ones, which ended up as mini games or Gameboy games and whatnot. I think there are around 15 so far.

press Esc to make the options on the top appear (they are an arrow pointing down, game, config, cheat, netplay and misc). click on the arrow, and go to load game. then look for the ROM and double-click it, and it should open.

all you have to do is push escape when you open it up and its just a black screen. then go to file and find the rom and open it.

That's snes9x. Which is inferior to zsnes. I would recommend downloading zsnes on emuparadise.org, since zsnes is the best SNES emulator out there for most computers.

UPDATE: There will not be a Final Fantasy VII remake for PS3. Repeat, there will not be a remake. But, there will be a new Final Fantasy game. We'll have info on that as it happens.

Most likely not. I have my doubts about them pulling off a remake of FFVII, a game where an amazing story is already written. I have no confidence that they have any more good story ideas left in them.

Race them up to class A, Try again at each rank change if you cant wait. Should improve chances
