By reading the "story" section of red's link, the story sounds nothing like Tactics. Upon further examination, Vaan also really, really looks like a girl. I miss the days when the main character was supposed to be a charismatic hero, not some adolescent idiot kid. I think that was my biggest problem with X as well.

Edit: Oh yeah, speaking of FF and bands and whatnot (not really lol), I saw these guys open up for the second stage at Gigantour, and thought they were okay. Now I really like some of their stuff. And the frontman's an Asian FF fan.

Its not that hard, just practice it a ton and you'll get it. I had to work a lot on the second phrase, with the 3 nps runs. But its helped me a whole lot.

Now the hard part for me is just connecting some of the phrases. And I've got a few more parts to learn.

What tab are you using? Some of the parts seem off on mine... and its the only one I can find.

Yeah, Powertab editor. Its free on their site, then you download the tabs and open em up with the Editor program. Its so much better than MX though.

****, I actually can't find the tab I'm using on Powertab, but I did find a tab for it. Its arranged very differently though from Alexi's. I can send you Guitarpro over AIM tomorrow and you can get the tab from mysongbook if you want. Unfortunately you can't download Guitarpro for free online... not that anyone actually pays.

Neither. Take up cello. Seriously, cello > piano > violin. Difficult cello music tends to be more technically complex than difficult violin music, which is just scalar and chromatic runs.

i dont know, a teacher can be great or very bad. like, my old violin teacher was a dick and i didnt really want to play that much. but when i changed my teacher (the one i have now), i practise way more than i used to. he teaches me rock-violin, cos he used to play in king crimson.

I recommend you leave him. A good teacher keeps you progressing by judging what you're good at and what you need to work on. A bad one just gives every student the same thing regardless of skill or flaws. Every person has different strengths and weaknesses, and a teacher should see that and treat each person accordingly.

Those are called "bad teachers". If it felt like a waste, than the praise they get is irrelevant. My teacher always teaches me new things and makes sure I progress, so I'm never feeling like it's a waste.

Out of curiousity, what do they teach you? I know theory better than my old teachers, I have recordings of songs I learn, so I don't need teachers to show me how to play music, and I can read music well. I just don't see what I need a teacher for.

Against Safer Sephiroth, I remember killing him with Cloud's 4x-Cut after maybe 4 turns.

Not only did Onmislash pwn Sephiroth in one turn, but we clearly see Cloud pwn Sephiroth again back in the Mako reactor when he flashes back to his days as a Shinra soldier (I'm talking about the flashback when he realizes his past late in the game - not the stuff you see in the very beginning).

Sephiroth would probably win if Cloud was fighting normally. However, it seems that superhuman instincts come out when Cloud is fighting Sephiroth in extreme situations. And when that happens, Cloud wins. But as a whole, I'd say Sephiroth is more powerful.

i was close to getting omni slash too, but i ran out of GP just before i managed to get 52000 battle points (or how many it is to get omnislash in disk 1). :upset: :upset:

i think enemy skill is the only materia you'll ever need in the whole game.

I don't think having a gigantic thing like a Weapon, or a dragon or something being the hard boss would be very fun. I mean, fighting the Ice Giant was really fun in the original, but there's something about a one on one fight with someone who doesn't have any huge physical advantage, but is just as skilled as the main character that's cool.

I think Wiegraf could work. Or Kuja, perhaps?

I plan to... if I don't just get a new computer altogether. I need a new hard drive as well, and I was/am planning on a new comp in the next 6 months/year anyway. This thing's just going straight to hell right now.

Actually now I think its probably not a sound card issue, because I don't get the problem when playing from purevolume.

Oh man, how I loved MGS so so much.

MGS 2 and whatnot were so ****ing disappointing plotwise. MGS was so captivating, I played it multiple times just to get the story straight.

So good.

1. you download the torrent
2. open up the program you are going to use to download from the torrent (eg. Azureus)
3. open the torrent on the program
4. once you open the torrent, it will ask you where you'll want to save the file. choose a location.
5. the download should start. wait....
6. once it finishes downloading, right click the downloading torrent and remove it from the downloading screen.
7. go to where you saved the file.

i think that'll do (thats all i do anyway). its quite simple. :thumb:

Sorry to be nitpicky, but Presto refers to the tempo of the piece (very fast). When listing a classical piece, you should list the name of the piece, and what movement it is. Generally, if there are three movements, it will be fast, slow, very fast. But, yeah. Once again, don't mean to be a jerk, just a heads up.
