Kjata is floating in the trees around in the ancient forest, if you look at the screen as you come in from Bone village, you'll see it floating around, you have to keep looking though, it may take a little time to catch, also.

Chrono Trigger I think pwns ever Final Fantasy ever. It had everyone - great characters and storyline, great gameplay, great battle/magic system. Chrono Cross had everything except the battel/magic system, which I thought was horrid. Oh well, I'm content with emulators.

Right now, I'm at the part during the Ice Age, the boss where you fight two dinosaur things with a Imp commanding them. It's pretty hard, first boss I died too :/

And I only have 1 triple tech, Arc Impulse. I was kind of hoping Toma was going to join your party, but alas, no go :(

That about sums it up for me. The coolest thing about CT's battle system was that there were so many options and combinations with characters and their abilities. CC dumbed way down with that. :( I hated the grid thing too, but I might've been able to overlook that.

There are a ton of playable characters in Chrono Cross. But the number of characters you'll get in any given playthrough is pretty reasonable. It's just when you try to get all of them using new game+ that it gets ridiculous.

Well, there was pretty good development of some of the characters in CC, just not many. The story really did just revolve around Kid, Serge, Glenn/Karsh/Riddle/Dario/that whole family/friend group, and Lynx.

apparently the PC version was a really rubbish port, so you're gonna expect really low resolution backgrounds so go with the PS1 version, thats the one everyone else has played

The coolest triple tech ever in CT had to be Dark Eternal, I believe its the one that must be invoked with the black rock and magus.

yes, Luminaire was the sh1t... but x slash was pretty good for being the first dual tech your chars learn. And i always used chrono, ayla, and various third person being frog or magus. *sigh*.... i miss that game

yeah, sadly i did it all the time (after i had named them all after myself and good friends :rolleyes: ).... they could be a great party but really, Lucca sucks no matter where you put her.

Yeah, Lucca is kinda useless... but, her dual tech with Marle (what was it called again?) was quite powerful.

I used that party in one play through. I really don't like Ayla for some reason, so I hardly ever use her, but I found that that party is one of the best, definitely.

Zeal is awesome. I always felt that, if I could live in any place in any video game, it would be Zeal (before Qeen Zeal goes insane).

Ayla is quite strong, possibly the best character in the game in terms of physical damage, but I just didn't like using her for some reason. I tend to pick my parties more on sentimental attachment to the characters than on their actual merits as characters. Hence my using Aeris for all of the first disc of FFVII.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Terra. She was a very importent part of VI and had some cool abilities. But she pales in comparison to Tifa and Aeris, who were very distinct characters with very memorable attirbutes, which I felt Terra was a little lacking of.

I don't really want to be a senior. Junior year is already hard enough, but next year will be downhill luckily. I'm also not nearly as involved with school as you are, so I think I'm in the clear. :)

Im in my second year of college currently and I'm majoring in computer science(half math and half computer courses). My dad majored in this and it has a ton of career opportunities. Its the only thing I can truly see myself doing.

Both of my older bros said the same thing. Dorming is tough at first because its just different and you get homesick, but once you break out of it, its fun as hell.

I never noticed how boring being at home is without my bros, especially my oldest. One of them lives with us again but hes moving out after he graduates and hes moving to vegas. :D

Yeah, my parents weren't real constricting or anything...but it's nice being able to make my own decisions and feeling the repercussions of my own decisions and learning from it on my own rather than having them on my back.

EDIT: And yeah, my brother moved out when I was 13, and I only see him once or twice a year. I'm starting not to care about travel expenses and start seeing a lot more often now. I have so much fun when I hang out with him.
