I only use savegames. Just save the game normally, and when you start up the game, the load game screen will have your game. It's more reliable, and it removes some of the temptation to use save states to cheat.

Guys, come on, Lufia II? Anybody? If anyone isn't sure what game to play next, I highly recommend Lufia II, and then Lufia I. You can play them in either order, really. Lufia II is technically a prequel, but it was released about 5 years after Lufia I.

Lufia II is probably the single most underrated game ever released for the SNES. Brilliant RPG, and it has the most difficult sidequest ever made (which I am currently getting trashed by).

I've heard the pains of Limit quests. Last night my friend needed his parchment, which he managed to get on his first kill, but then 3 othere skellys aggroed all the while he's screaming in LS chat "Oh god, there is karma after all!"

You can change jobs but not race. You'd love Monk. Its my main and I have it at lvl 38. Nothing like dealing serious damage and Having the highest HP in nearly every party. (b ^-^)b

1. Sort of, there's a game called Ballista(which I'm pretty good at(lol ego+2)), which is kind of like a soccer match; You're assigned to a team of players, and once the game starts, you have to quarry for stones that you have to through into rooks, but you can only do that after you or someone in your party defeats a member of the enemy team.

2. The expansions are still the same game, it just unlocks new areas and missions and jobs.

3 The monsters are on screens, no random battles.

Foolish of you, foolish...for Cloud's Ultima Weapon was not blue. It was white, but if he took a lot of damage it turned blue.

What you need to do is go in with two dead guys. The one you leave should be the one with KOTR and Hades. When you start, Ruby will immediately stick his tentacles in the ground (this is why you kill your own guys). Then, W-Summon Hades and Pheonix (preferrably Pheonix first). Hades will put him to sleep while Pheonix heals your other two guys. after that, W-Summon KOTR and Hades. KOTR will do ungodly damage and heal your party while Hades will keep him asleep. Rinse and repeat until victory.

did anyone else notice that in the fight with Safer Sephiroth, his summon spell Super Nova doesn't really cause that much damage even though it seriously types about 1986205670345678146578342657193?... no exaggeration. i think it should be one of those countdown things instead, like, if you don't beat him before zero, BOOM! automatic loss.

I think it's meant to imply that it's Sephiroth? I have no idea if it is though. The only things I can draw on from the game with that is when Cloud was in a wheelchair after getting Mako poisoning from being in the lifestream, and wasn't Sephiroth cast into the lifestream at the end of the game? Plus he's wearing a cowl like all the experimental subjects who were going to the Jenova reunion in the game.

I'm personally more excited by the fact that Bahamut appears. Now that is just hot.

(Edit: I thought it was Weapon at first, but apparently it is Bahamut. Makes more sense really... you can't summon Weapon.)

Yeah, i know what kasan means...but You never find out who he's reffering to he just says it really paniced in the trailer and looks the other way. Maybe you saw something else though. And I don't think it could be his mother, seeing as the person doing the voice of the wheelchair has the voice of a guy. I went to adventchildren.net and they said his/her identity was revealed in the 25 min preview. I wish I could see it....

Well you'd have a very long thread if you made it main characters. If I was you I'd do Final Fantasy against Final Fantasy, listing all the final fantasys from Final Fantasy I to Final Fantasy XI.

Anyway I wouldn't be that keen on seeing a Final Fantasy hurt and heal, because no doubt FF7 will win, and FF8 will bow out quickly. A sad reflection. :(

Edit: If you do a FF hurt and heal thread, make sure you throw in some sensible rules like you're allowed one post every 2 or 3 hours.

Hades and Cerberus will be returning, as will many of the levels. Also, you get to go to the Hades underworld, so the Hercules level will be more than just the Colisseum. And, to make it even cooler, Auron from FFX helps you fight Cerberus and Hades.

The characters from Pirates of the Caribbean are going to be in KH2, which I have to say kind of bothers me. I would rather it remains with the cartoons, which I just find to be a lot more enjoyable. Having Johnny Depp in my video game... not something I like.

Edit: If you're going to be doing a FF hurt and heal, you really need to rethink the characters you're using from FFVI, because you definitely need Celes and/or Locke. Those characters are so pivotal.

I used to use him alot, then i switched to the Dreadlord, sleep is a good spell to use on Heros, plus he looks cool.

I use both Death Knight and Dread Lord. They both have great Auras that really boost your guys in combat. I've never used Sleep (I've been meaning to) but Carrion Swarm and Death Coil are great.

I'm not talking about hoe major a character she was. I'm just saying I found her character to be annoying and terrible in battle. Mog was also in several FF games.

That's a common problem with PS2s. It has to do with the lens getting dusty and whatnot. To truly fix it you'd have to take it to someone who can crack it open and clean the thing out for you, but a friend of mine who had the same problem said all you have to do is get a can of compressed air, open the disc tray, and spray the air all around in the disc opening. I can't confirm that but it seems logical.

Ok, here's an updated list of the FF characters that are to be included in the upcoming final fantasy hurt+heal. There are 20 Characters total because so many people wanted different characters in it (but lets not go over 20). I hope everyone's sastisfied, but if not please leave a comment/suggestion. :)
