I've had the same avatar ever since I got on MX, but I might be willing to change it.

As for the best location to live from an FF game, I'm not sure where I would go with. Too many cool locations. However, if it was expanded to non-FF games as well, I would definitely go for the Kingdom of Zeal before it's destroyed.

So yeah, anyone out of any FF game, you change your avatar to your favourite character, and a Usertitle to suit the avatar (Check out Slave To The Dark's, that's a great example), it's just to show people that you enjoy, or are a long time fan of FF games. :)

Umm i have a very late question about that emulator thing Lord Brum linked to, i can't get the games to start, i've loaded them on the actual emulator but do i need a controller or something because nothing i press works?

You need to set the controls.

A cross between a white mage and a black mage, only it can fight better (I seem to recall, at least).

I'm not really too sure but from a few minutes on FFIII i gather they're mages who can use special weapons and bows and arrows.

They're a combo of Fighter, BM and WM.

Its still worth having a BM and WM in your party though because they get to use the strongest magical attacks.

Yeah, geomancers were terrible. It was made even worse by the fact that their spells had to be specific to the terrain that the enemy was on.

Lancers are cool, I used them very heavily my first play through that game. Jump is so useful, especially in other FF's where the enemy can't move out of the way.

I always did this:

Ramza, as a Squier (all abilites, including Ultima), Punch Art secondary, with Blade Grasp (Brave at 97) and Two Swords (two Excaliburs - Chaos Blades if I have them).

I could kill just about anything with one hit from Ramza.

My Ramza as a monk can kill just about anything with one hit, as a squire I have Save the Queen and Excalibur equipped, and can also kill or critically hurt anything with one hit, but not quite as much damage as monk form. Having abilities like that on at all times (accumulate, scream, yell, etc.) is your ticket to huge loads of JP and EXP. Whenever you move but can't do anything useful, you can just accumulate or whatever. It's a free 10 exp. and several JP for doing nothing but boosting your own stats.

Chaos Blades are found in the Deep Dungeon. Go to the HORROR level and have "catch" on your everyone in your party. The ninjas and samurai will throw CB at you.

Have you been to Valkurm Dunes yet? That place is cool looking as well, especially when you get to the beaches. I loved it when I first went there. You level there from 10-19/20 depending on you're job. As a BLM you can probably head to Qufim Island at 19 for faster exp.

Nah, not yet. My good level 74 BLM friend has been doing them all day today though, but at 66 I really need to level just a bit more before I get into anything big like that. And that's awesome with bernie, I wish my LS did little fun stuff like that :\

To my knowledge, there's no way to increase the Teleport success rate. That's what I hate about it. It has good range but there's no way to know if you're trying to move too far or not. I always seem to use it anyway since I've never gotten Move +3. :upset:

Yeah. But it also eliminates the fun of low level challenges. Sort of a trade off, I guess. Overall, I probably do prefer having everything level with you, but still, there's nothing quite like finishing a game at around level 30 or lower.

Definately.

Malboros, Ruby Dragons, and the dragons on the heaven island. I think the ruby dragons were the worst in the game. Especially on the way to Ultima Weapon, since theres only a save at the beginning and end of the trail. They use Breathe on you, pretty much your dead. Iron Giants were a pain, too, but a good trick with them is to blind them. :thumb:

I always seemed to have a hard time going down there. Even with the No Encounter ability, you still got random battles every 3 steps. I got lucky quite a few times because Odin came out of nowhere, I love Zantetsuken. :thumb:

That place was hard because every random counter (every 43 steps) had some insane creature...it wasn't that I couldn't handle it, but after so many battles I grew weary and impatiet, even if Squall's sterngth was at 255. Call it psychological warfare if you will.

could've been much better. too easy with the battle system, stupid main character, annoying girl character(yuna). music was pretty good at points and the CG scenes were incredible(airship going to the wedding was amazing). :thumb:
