what's the difference between a keyboard and a piano? is a keyboard like a MIDI piano? thanks

a keyboard just doesn't have strings in it, it's all electric usually, and keyboards tend to be shorter than pianos, although i think you can get full size keyboards

Keyboards are all electric yeh, and some use MIDI sounds, others use some other form of electronic sound thingy. Also, keyboards keys are usually heaps easier to press down compared to piano, making it easier to play faster
