Oy,
Any of you ever sell off yer band mates? There's a big demand (due to shortage of) bass players in me area, and it got me thinking. Me band's bass player really sucks, and I want to get rid of her, so I figure I may as well profit from it and sell her off to some punters. Then it got me thinking, what are the moral and ethical implications of doing this? And could I possible sell her to several bands?

Well, we have a fairly decent bass player, but I would buy a decent singer.

I'd buy a bass player. They are so rare here and we need one to complete our band.
There was one bassplayer who was interested but hasn't shown up since.... maybe we shouldn't have said that we will put him in a locker between practices...

Ahahahaha this is hilarious, maybe she should sign a 5 year contract with the other band. With bonuses every time she plays a gig. Will you have a press conference?

Idiot

If Fenwood is going to be posting here more often, then we need a regular mod to ban his accounts every hour or so.

For what? I'm honestly considering selling me useless bass player. She's got a drinking problem (problem being she never brings any booze for us), smells like ****e and plays as well as a fingerless senior with downs.

Oh I forgot,
Forgive me?

I am really sure that you will enter a legal transaction with another musician to buy your bassist, because being illegal it is not a sound financial agreement for any potential buyer to adhere to, thus you would not make a sale.

Tis not illegal. It's called supply & demand, there's a demand for bass players and I'm providing it. I'm not asking for much, and am even open for trades.
Is it illegal to sell yer used bass amp? I think not, so why can't I sell me used bass player?

The bassist does not legally belong to you.

And your posts have nit to do with me thread
Logiv --

The bassist is collectively owned by me band. There is a binding verbal agreement upon joining with us.

Verbal?
Then for it to be legally binding you need to have a recording of the bassist making that contract.
