Hey all, ive wrote songs while listening to and getting idea's from metallica albums.
This is my ...and justice for all tribute/song :

When I look around,
I see debris, death and fear,
Killing is a living,
Loved ones disappear,

[Deceit]
It’s your only friend,
[Deception]
The nightmare never ends,
[Rejection]
Just face it,
You’re through,

When I look at you,
I see lies, emptiness and wealth,
Sorrow is a part of you,
Slowly destroying your health,

[Deceit]
It’s your only friend,
[Deception]
The nightmare never ends,
[Rejection]
Just face it,
You’re through,

When I look at myself,
I see hatred, pain and misery
I cannot move on in life,
Death will set me free,

This is the Master of puppets tribute/song :

Creativity at and end,
onto the next trend,
boundries of sanity,
never be set free,

[chorus] (sung like The thing that should not be)
de-ranged insanity,
blinding hate, i cannot see,
visions of my future death,
the past re-living, futures breath,

Powers that be,
Death in surgory,
Hide behind your words,
Death comes in hurds,

An odd idea this, but why not? I've written about blocked toilets and school trips to the museum before..."inspiration" comes from the oddest places sometimes.

"killing is a living" sounds more like a tribute to Megadeth's "Killing is My Business" than to Metallica, but maybe I should dust off the AJFA CD and give it a spin, see where you're coming from.

And I didn't think much of the line "death comes in hurds" (I presume you misspelled "herds" as opposed to "turds" or something when you wrote that). Doesn't sound that deadly, unless you're talking about stampedes, or BSE-infected burger meat.

that mad cow will get you every time :)

the songs were pretty decent, i mean there wasnt anything blatantly wrong with them, and a tribute song is better than a parody any day :)

Well, those lyrics are terrible. But then again, so are Metallica's. "Darkness, imprisoning me, all that i see, absolute horror."
