I really like it - The slow song didnt quite grab me the same as the 2 quicker songs did.....

World Made Me I love the tempo changes, jumps then pumps. Its really catchy. Could do with some matching harmonies behind her voice in the chorus tho (personally)

Worthless is a good mid-tempo chugger. My second fave out of the 3 I heard.

Shimmer Cell I guess is one of those songs that will take several listens to let it grab ya.... which usually is the kind of song that lasts in your memory long after those quick-fix songs do. Reminds me alot of Hole (which I personally don't like... cant stand Courtney Love) but many people do so its all good.

Thanks for checkin out the songs...We really appreciate your thoughts! On the Album version of World Made Me I'll be doing the harmonies on the chorus and the song will be about 30 seconds longer. Shimmer Cell is a weird song because some people love it and some people don't. So, I understand what you are saying about Shimmer Cell. We do get a lot of Hole comparisons which I think is kinda funny because Courtney wasn't really an influence on me vocally or lyrically. On the other hand, I can see where the comparison comes from....not that I like it. LOL

Yeah thats the thing.... natural style is something that you just "have" and when that style is similar to someone else out there, people cant help but compare. Regardless of whether you were influenced by them or not.

But all in all, I really liked the songs both musically and especially vocally... (which is unusual for me I guess because I usually don't take to girl-rock-vocals too much unless it really stands out to me. I still don't know to this day why so many women out there think Gwen Stefani is gods gift to rock-chicks.... I think shes overrated, overpaid and overappreciated.... but thats just me :))

Yup, I know what you are saying. Personally, I've never viewed Gwen as a rock chick. She's always been a Ska turned Cheez Pop turned 80's I don't know what the f**k chick to me. And I'm sure there will be plenty of Courtney comparisons and I even get Gwen sometimes. The worst I get is probably Brittney Spears. Yeah, people are like "Oh my gosh, you remind me of Brittney Spears!" I'm just like...Wow, If you have blonde hair and a decent face you can pretty much take your pick!!!!

You're not wrong on the Gwen thing. Actually, to quote my bands singer Sam... "Gwen Stefani is the most A-Sexual woman ive ever seen" and I think hes right on the money. I dont find her attractive, appealing, or even interesting (having said that I think their bassist is the KING of cool on stage... hes awesome).

As for the Britney comparisons..... how do you control yourself and not throw rusty sharp impliments of death at those who say those things? That'd be like someone saying I reminded them of Robbie Williams.... There would be a death for sure :)
