We just wondered that what do you guys think of our new song. The video quality is not good, but we can't do better with our camera.

The name of the band is "Silent Threnody" http://www.silentthrenody.com
The song is called "Never Again"

cool song - you remind me of anathema. i think you should cut that little soft part at the end. good stuff though, although i don't like the keyboard tone at all.

Man, that was really cool, good job.

Nice song, I personally like the keyboard, gave it a little bit more of an identity.

thanks guys. It's always nice to have some positive feedback. Although I don't think thats even our best song at this moment.

There is some mistakes on how we played it, but thats only because we had already played like six hours before we made that video.

I really that song man, i like your voice it sounded real, like alot of singers you can tell they are putting "XYZ on their voice to" but yours sounded very natural. Everything was tight, and i like the beginning

good singing!!

Kboards kinda a tad irritating

10-21-2004, 01:11 PM
although the more i listen to it the more i like the kboards

I'm the bassist, but yes our singer has a great voice. He only uses echo when he sings.

The keyboard doesn't sound that bad in real life (thankfully).

good job

10-22-2004, 01:52 PM
Not bad

top song dudes,

i was thinkign it might sound a abit beter if you keep the clean guirtar going for a bit longer, then rip into the distortion?

what tuning you playing in? whats the first thing you paly in clean. sounds amazing....

brilliant. just brilliant

This song is pretty much as completed as it gets (i'm the one who composed it), but thanks from those suggestions. Guitars are in plain E-tuning, and the first thing played in clean is just a some sort of Em chord.

I just checked that the first chord is Em9

Hey that song rocks man! Only thing i wasnt a huge fan of was the drums, he soudns like hes struggling to get two hits in the bass drum alot and the set is kinda poor but i understand if its jsut practice. Keep up the good work!
