Alice does a good jon bon jovi impression on a couple of the songs.

It's cool, he has a weird voice.
Never heard Bill Ward solo, though.

Actually geezer doesnt sing. On the first album its the guy from Fear Factory( I dont know his name) , on the second album (which I wanna get) and the upcoming one a guy called Clark Brown is on vocals.

I found one in an independant shop a few years ago, I didn't buy it though.

That shop closed down for good about 2 years ago, it was a great shop - sold cd's, patches, t-shirts, hoody's, badges etc...

I've not seen one since, I saw Iommi's first album in Virgin about a year ago.

Fun Fact: They actually had Vinny in the band not long after Bill had his heart attack, Vinny's kit was set-up behind Bill's just incase he couldn't cope with touring.

I'm just wondering, I've always wondered if Ozzy and the rest of Sabbath ever really put past their differences and are friends again, or if they just did the reunions anyway. If so I really wish they would write at least one new song together, but that probally won't happen.

So i was looking around at all these "official threads" and noticed someone, no Black Sabbath thread?? I think out of all these bands these guys really need a main thread. They are one of the best rock bands ever. You can discuss anything Black Sabbath in here, but do not spam and flame.

Tony Iommi was the only guitarist in Black Sabbath, and Randy Rhoads had nothing to do with it. Therefore, do not say something like this: http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6836385&postcount=3155

The Live&Loud tour was 1991/1992, the Sabs performed Black Sabbath as a one-off towards the end of the tour. When Ozzy performed Changes it had Zakk Wylde on the piano.

It had been their first re-union since Live Aid in 1985 (or was it 1984? I can never remember) where they played a short set. After the Live&Loud one-off song the original Sabbath line-up didn't play a complete set until 1998/1999, when they did the Re-Union tour.

The 1997 Ozzfest doesn't count because Mike Bordin from Ozzy's solo band was drumming for them.

Why?

A few reasons...

1. I can't afford both days, Sunday has more bands that I want to see on it anyways, even though I've seen 3 bands before.
2. My dad is going on the Sunday - 'sup free lift there and back for me.
3. Sabbath won't be any different than on the Re-Union DVD (Last Supper), apart from the facts that Geezer is only in it for the money, Ozzy's vocie is pretty crap these days, Bill's half dead and Tony is well....Tony
4. Erm...I had a number 4 but its slipped my mind
5. I may change my mind when day tickets go on sale, but for the time being I'm only going on the Sunday.

I'll start this off by asking, what is your all time favorite Black Sabbath song?

lol,i know this was posted a long time ago,but i just read what that guy said. SHAME ON HIM!!!DOES HE KNOW NOTHING???i mean,if youre on the rock/metal forum,u should atleast know the basic facts about THE original metal band(no disrespect to Led Zep,they are/were one of the greatist of all times, but more rock). and know disrespect to Randy,he was possibly the best guitarist ever.but DEEP DISPECT ON THAT GUY!!!ill try to calm down now...

From what ive heard I dont mind the slant he puts on the songs. Not as good as ozzy but still good.

Maybe I havnt heard NIB from that album. Ill have a look at the place I got samples. www.bbc.co.uk its great for listening to samples of songs so you can decide if you want to buy the album.

Same, it's a good album.

In another non Sabbath news, the new Avenged Sevenfold song is out, and it looks like they have gone power metal. \m/

I've heard little from the Dio-era but what I heard I felt was rather good. But I prefer Ozzy.

Yeah ozzy owns dio (in my god-like opinion).

Martin also owns dio.

Dude, Edit button.

Part 2 of the Sabbath Story was rushed, the videos are good but other than that its a bit meh.

Which DVD is better Vol 1 or Never Say Die? Im tempted to get Never Say Die because it is a one full concert rather than a bunch of clips.

Never Say Die is a bit meh in some places, its nothing special.

Vol 1 is probably slightly better.
