Then:
After releasing "The Darker Side of Nonsense" in 2001, Dry Kill Logic was a very welcome band by many, but overlooked by many more.
After the events of 9/11, DKL's label was no longer going to give a strong push for aggresive music, IE: Dry Kill Logic. They urged the band to release a more melodic, radio friendly release.
DKL split with their label and continued on their own, without a record deal, using their own label: Pyschodrama.
Shortly after, they lost their bassist and guitarist.
Now:
With new members, leaving only the singer and drummer from the original lineup, Dry Kill Logic finally release the long awaited new CD, "The Dead and the Dreaming", which is as brutal, if not heavier, than the first CD.
Cliff's scream is still his main vocal usage, and he still sings quite a bit, moreso than on the first CD, which with this band isn't a bad thing at all, as Cliff also has a GREAT singing voice.
Highlight songs include:
Paper Tiger
Lost
With Deepest Regrets
200 Years
4/5
While not the greatest ever, this is a great CD.
http://www.purevolume.com/drykilllogic - 4 songs from the new CD, "The Dead and the Dreaming"
http://www.drykilllogic.com - Video for "Paper Tiger" in the music/video section, a few songs as well.
*Note* This CD is already selling very well. It took 2 weeks from release date for me to even be able to attain a copy for myself, as they were always sold out when I went, which was pretty much every other day.
