To be honest I don't see the point. No one to my knowledge uses the links to the requests and downloads in the thread, since they are in the newsletter anyway. As well as this, it's daily, so checking through requests and albums sent in per day can't be so time-consuming that a new thread has to be made.

OK, I think the newsletter should revert back to the original way now. I didn't download anything from them anyway, I just uploaded. But it appears most people prefer that way, and to be honest, it has worked a lot better. I guess it's just easier to receive albums than look through an inbox of old uploads for ones you might want.

ATTN Stew: I'm going to upload the guitar-ish part of No It Isn't. I think I saved it at too high a bitrate and it's gonna take quite a while on YSI. I'll post it when it's done. It's a bit rough since I didn't know the song too well, but it's enough to give you an idea. Oh yeah, and it's on a classical guitar too, so it may sound a bit funny.

So I was thinking, I want to do a Top 100 Pop-Punk Covers contest.

So Pop-Punk bands cover songs. I thought it would be a great idea, I would upload the songs, so everyone can listen to the songs before voting in each poll.

But is it too soon to do it?

Seriously, people should just stop with the lists. I know this forum has trouble with threads, but this is just being whored way too much. The usual Top 100 bands and albums are good, but this is being blown up way too much in my opinion, and is making the forum seem desperate for threads that people visit.
