I know, I go to the pit all the time, but really I think something should be done about that because if you don't do anything now then it's only going to get worse. Brandon has seemed to me to have acted worse and worse lately, I think he may have gotten full of himself. Would a thread work where you posted the name of a band or song you wanted, and then someone who had it could say "Oh yeah I have that" and then give them their email and stuff and they could send the song over MSN/AIM?

I don't think it would go against any rules as all the sending would be done over MSN or AIM and it would also be a decent way to send music between people on the forum?

OK, I have this idea for a new thread (Not THE thread I keep talking about), but I'm wondering if it will be legal.

Basically, I thought of a game in which an MXer sends me a song of their choosing, preferably not too mainstream as to make it harder. Then, once about 20 or so MXers have sent the songs, I'd retag them all and erase the artist name, album, song etc. Then I'd YSI the link and people would have to guess what songs they were without being able to look at the titles. I don't really know if that would be much of a success, but I'm just wondering.

I had an idea today to try and run a competition for the "Top 100 (?) Non-Pop-Punk Bands, as voted on by the Pop-Punk Forum". I'm not sure how it would work out, so I thought I'd run it by the mods (and other users) first.

We may get a lot of arguing about what counts as not-Pop Punk is the only problem I can think of.
Like Straylight Run. They are an amazing band, and this is the forum they are talked about in, but they are in no way a pop punk band.

I guess conflicts could always be solved by "votes" within the nomination thread, or there could be like a "commitee" of 4 or 5 knowledgable posters.

Oh, and if they were in the Top 100 pop-punk bands competition, they'd probably have to be disqualified even if they weren't really pop-punk.

Psh, I don't have that much music. Only 30 days or so :-\
