Crime of the Century was released Octoberof 1974, it's Supertramps third album. This is my first review so tips would be welcome.

1. School- A good opening track, it's about the do's and don'ts children face when first being schooled. At about 2:30 in to the song there is an instrumental section containing an piano solo that happens to be one of my favorite moments on the album. The song jumps back in to a good lyrical bit with Roger Hodgson and Richard Davis trading lines.
Overall a good opening song 5/5

2. Bloody Well Right- One of the better well know songs off the album. A great song to sing along with when it gets to the famous chorus. Neat closing saxophone solo. Overall A great song with a catchy chorus. 4/5

3. Hide In your Shell- The second longest song on the album. The song deals with hiding away from the world. I think Roger Hodgsons singing stands out here as some of the best on the album, the excellent saxophone playing also helps move the song along nicely. The backing vocals also give the song a great sound. Overall great lyrics and singing, 5/5

4. Asylum- The piano playing really stands out to me on this track. Lyrics are top notch and Richard Davies sings he best in this track. A great climax makes it even better. Overall one of the best songs on the album 5/5 an definite stand out

5. Dreamer- Every one knows this song. " Dreamer, You know you are a dreamer" A fun song to sing along to, that has a nice rather up beat sound to it. Great climax also. Overall Good lyrics and quite catchy. 4/5

6. Rudy- The longest song on the album at 7:19. Opens off with a nice piano segment and ocean noises in the back ground. The song switches between being slow and quick and does both well. As always Richard Davies singing is heart felt. At 2:47 theres an nice instrumental section. At around 4 minutes it kicks off into a fast more alive section with Roger Hodgson and Richard Davies trading lines. Overall A great track 5/5

7. If Every One was Listening- Some of the best singing on the album, the piano is amazing as always and there is good drumming as well. Still its my least favorite track on the album but im not really sure why. Overall still a good song 3/5

8. Crime of the Century- The title track is the perfect closing song. I love how it goes from light to heavy also the guitar solo is amazing and fits the song perfectly. Its has a great instrumental section the features great piano, guitare and drums. Overall The perfect way to end and great album 5/5

Album Overall 4/5
An awsome album if you like Supertramp your probaly love this album. I hope you enjoyed my review and tips are welcome
