dfelon, i thought it was a random high school musing. its nice storytelling, better than a lot i've heard about that topic. the little things were nicely dealt with. what made me think it was emo was maybe an underlying vein of judgmentalism/petty disdain. the music people call emo that i've heard tends to have a lot of that, even if it isnt as intricate as yours.
i admit i dont listen to emo much, and i was probably wrong when i pegged the song that way. gimme a few songs to broaden the taste a bit. i tried a circle takes the square song off kazaa. it's got that annoying static thing going. couldnt get any better since kazaa had only one at that point in time.

right, well considering i was drunk and pissed off of dealing with a buch of teenage girls who act exactlay like SubtleDagger here and had not in fact sleeped for more than 2 hours in the few days beforhand, i'm glad i made as much sesnse as i did...

What i was tyring to point out which subtle then ingored constrating on the idea of pouplur bands... was that just becuse YOU don't music dose NOT mean it sucks, you may want to rip your own ear drums out if you are made to lission to it, but other people may not and may enjoy it... now the fact you run around saying band sucks, that your right and sonet is wrong becuse he likes a band you dons't brings me to the simple conclushion that your an asshole who have no undesrtand of what music is...

Music is a wonderfuly beautiful and powerful thing, ANY ONE can find a music they love, that can move them and that they can enjoy, and becuse the enjoyment of music is purly supbjective to the person lissiong to it, there is no right or wrong about music, only personle taste, and when you start imposing your perosnle taste on another person and beliveing they can't enjoy or apra****e music as much as you do becuse you come across as argonet stuid and simply a ****wit.... chirst i've not been here than long, and almost every post sutle has made has annoind me in some way...

yes i don't know you, but your online persona is all i have to go by, and the way you act and juge your self and other by music, when music is and can only ever be subjective can only lead to the simple fact that you think the music you lission to makes you better than other people, which is wrong and stupid...

you can get in to how complexcate music is, but its the same as any art, simple can work better than complecated at times, and again its back to personle tastes that i like music and art that is simply done but in ways that add up to complecated meaning or just to simply enjoying it
